“The room was spacious and comfortable. The facilities are old but clean (though I noticed some water stains in the toilet). The check-in staff was kind and helpful, but the person I spoke with on the phone tried to charge extra for breakfast even though it was already included, which felt unreliable. However, the bath and breakfast were excellent, so I’m satisfied overall and would stay again.”

“Hotel Hanabun was a great ryokan experience! It is nestled in the mountains offering a peaceful getaway from touristy/crowded areas. It had the best onsen water, even the locals went there to bathe! The hosts and staff are all friendly and accommodating to your needs. Google translate was necessary to communicate, but everyone is very patient. The food was incredibly delicious, and they use locally sourced, fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy ryokan. ”

“部屋が40へーべーと広い。 温泉が露天風呂有り。 ディナーや朝食がバイキングで持ち帰りのお弁当かその場で食べるか選べる。 周りは、山々で車があると便利。 ただ、ボーとしたり、紅葉をみたり野尻湖という日本2番目の湖に行ったりできます。 敷地内のリフトから展望台にゆきうえからの眺めも素敵です。”

“Loved our experience. Only issue was the bed was not enough mattress for us but maybe others would not take issue. Other than that everything was a 10/10. Food was unique and delicious, service excellent, clean and of course the Onsen’s we so fun. Beautiful little town.”
