Das Hotel hat gerade vor 3wochen geöffnet daher war es sehr ruhig wenig Gäste trotzdem super Frühstück schon fast Brunch riesen Pool um die 100meter lang und 25 m breit trinken etwas teuer essen Preise gehen noch so ansonsten ist ringsherum nichts außer ein kleines Restaurant neben dem Hotel direkt am Strand mit super lecker Essen und traumhaft günstigsten Preisen wer die absolute Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig Kilometer weiter leerer Sandstrand

LE MENARA’s gentle authentic charm offered the perfect retreat of comfort for us to recharge. We woke up each morning to pleasant birdsong and were welcomed by the shimmering blue of their 130m swimming pool as we enjoyed our morning swim. Whether we explored the area by foot as waves lapped at our feet, or took a scenic ride to the nearest shop or activity, LE MENARA is conveniently situated. The poolside villa we stayed at was very comfortable and spacious, always refreshed to our liking. We marvelled at the bespoke hand-painted murals which echoed the hotel’s natural surroundings, and we adored the faint happy chirping of baby sparrows outside our roof! The service is exceptional - they deliver our every request with efficiency and gentle friendly smiles. What distinguishes LE MENARA far above any standardised 5-star hotel is their attentiveness and that consistent authentic personal touch - they thoughtfully tailored every detail to our preference. If you are looking for an authentic retreat to recharge, we recommend this hotel as our top choice - for its quality, and the tranquility in the atmosphere at LE MENARA is simply magical. A very special mention to the hotel manager, Marco, who is tirelessly dedicated to the hotel. This was our 5th visit & we didn’t think it could get better, but it did! He nurtures a multicultural staff with efficiency, excellence, discipline and kindness. We enjoyed every moment!! You’re missing out if you haven’t been to this gem!

部屋やファシリティーは綺麗で快適でした。 ただし、ホテルでの現地ツアーの申し込みや受付でのタクシーの手配など予約内容と違うBookingや時間に正確でないため、集合時間に行ってもタクシーが来てないことが多くストレス。 周辺にコンビニやスーパーなど何もなく、ホテルのレストランのメニューも同じなので4日も滞在すると飽きた。

This is a repeat visit for us. Le Menara is tucked away in North Khao Lak, a little away from the town centre with its own quiet strip of beach heaven. Fantastic location for those looking for a chilled getaway from the bustle of office/city life. Scenery is postcard perfect everywhere you turn. Rooms are spacious and service friendly. For swimming buffs, this one is for you, complete with an outdoors 120m pool one way (that’s more than double the usual Olympic sized pools). Imagine you’re in a lap of luxury amidst Castaway settings (that Tom Hanks movie, for those who know it), and you’re there. Even more notable is their head chef, Mana, at the hotel restaurant, L’Amore. He is an excellent chef, skilled across a range of local and international cuisines. Not only is his technique and execution world class, he consistently delivers wonderful dishes that accompany each other so well. He is also thoughtful, remembers your preferences and is very skilled at tailoring a menu to suit your palate on any given day. We have stayed at various different five- and six-star hotels around the globe and we would seriously return just to eat with him again!! If you visit, help us say a friendly hello to Mana from Amy and James please. Adore this scenic place - more so since they are now equipped with an incredible chef at their restaurant so you’d never have to venture far to get great food! P.S. As with anywhere else in Thailand, bring insect repellent!

this is a totally relaxing place, and we felt just that. but don't expect 5 star luxury, although it has some of those attributes; beautiful rooms, lovely bathroom. other aspects like the food quality don't reflect 5 star rating.However the food etc. is more than adequate, and really it is quite a steal at the price. Staff tried their best to help at all times, although limited by the English.....this will improve with time, glad to see they employ locals.

Beautifully appointed rooms. Bungalow was huge & couldn’t fault it. Spotless facilities. Pool was huge & always clean. Cleaning & ground staff were very efficient. Disappointed the beach was unkept & not suitable for swimming. Food was good but could be better. Wait staff were nice but could be more proactive & have some basic English. Overall, it is a beautiful resort for pure relaxation.

ห้องพักใหญ่กว้างขวาง สะดวกสบาย สะอาด สระว่ายน้ำยาว 100เมตร ติดชายหาด ชายหาดสะอาด ทรายนิ่ม น้ำทะเลใสบริเวณรอบข้างไม่มี โรงแรมหรือบ้านคนเลย อาหารเช้ามีคุณภาพ มีกาแฟสด บรรยากาศสงบ ผู้เข้าพักส่วนมากเป็นครอบครัว มีพวกแมลงเยอะ เพราะว่ารอบด้านโรงแรมเป็นป่า ถ้ามีโอกาศจะกลับมาพักที่นี้อีก พ่อประทับใจทุกอย่าง

Ze proberen iets van een 5*locatie voor te stellen maar daar zijn ze echt nog niet klaar voor. Personeel aan de receptie uitermate slecht. Luisteren naar je vraag of opmerking doen ze niet en ratelen gewoon hun versje op. Locatie vh hotel zeer matig t.o.v. bezienswaardigheden en andere leuke dingen. Ligt wel goed voor het strand. Om iets te doen ben je aangewezen op relatief dure taxi of bshtbusje. Weinig sfeer in het hotel. Het ziet er allemaal redelijk uit maar kijk je goed naar details, klopt er veel miet. Nee, dit is absoluut geen aanrader

Sehr viele Moskitos im Zimmer,da Fenster und Türen nicht richtig abschließen.Moskitonetze über dem Bett wären hilfreich.Reinigung der Zimmer mangelhaft.Villas sind sehr geräumig und wirklich sehr großer Pool in der Anlage.

Great location, nice waiting staff who had no proper training and NO ENGLISH SPOKEN, substandard food and not a lot of it, lots of mosquitoes etc We don’t think Expedia visited the hotel otherwise would not give it a 5*ranking and such high feedback .Will not be booking Expedia holiday on the back of your ranking.

Positiv: -CheckIn vor 14 Uhr, klasse bei der Hitze im März:) -sehr zuvorkommende und englisch sprechende Angestellte -tolles großes Zimmer und sauber geputzt/gepflegt!! -Mega großer Pool, direkt am Strand -Fitness ist ok, haben schon wesentlich schlechtere gehabt -bequeme große Betten!! -sauberer Strand, fast für einen allein Negativ: -sehr abgelegen (sollte einem vorher bewusst sein) Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier absolut richtig!! TOP. Danke für die schönen Tage:)

Hotellet er dejligt og ligger i rolige omgivelser, men der er ikke andet end hotellet. 30 min i bil til Khao Lak Centrum. Lækker strand og Pool. Personalet derimod er ringe. De kan ikke engelsk, smiler ikke, ingen service de kan stå 10 personer og kigge på hinanden de har ingen kendskab til servicefaget, det er en skam da hotellet har potentiale.

Prekrasan objekt, velike komforne sobe, cisto i uredno. Prekrasan ogromni bazen, usluzno osoblje. Organizacija funkcioniranja objekta bi mogla biti i bolja za 5 zvjezdica, masaze pretjerano skupe u odnosu na kvalitetu i u odnosu na ponudu u neposrednom okruzenju. Sve u svemu jedan ugodan odmor!

5 star hotel in a 3 star package

We had three weeks’ vacation in Thailand and we stayed at the LeMenara hotel for the full time. This hotel experience where filled with dual feelings. The hotel has a nice location, more or less lonely on a ~10 km long beach. The beach were nice with comfortable sun beds on the side and the pool next to were great and no problem for the children to play and have fun in. The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall finish for the hotel feels a bit old despite the hotel is just 2 years old. Regarding food and service they have a long way to go. They don't understand what is expected from a 5 star hotel. Price and quality for food was not good. You rather walk 10 min to the competitive beach restaurants on the sides and there you get food, faster, cheaper and better. Timing was terrible, it takes 45 min - 1hour to get your lunch/dinner, you have to wait >30 min for pancaces, eggs and omelettes etc during breakfast. They forget your orders, coffea/tea was quiet often cold. We talked with management, gave feed back, with the result that the service became worse and you had to fix your own coffea/tea by yourself. Food staff didn´t know English with the consequence that orders were often wrong and you had send back the food. They really need new management for the restaurants. Service staff at the reception was helpful, great and generous. In total it's a 5 star hotel in a 3 star package

Amazing property, amazing pool, area, amazing beach. . The rooms are large, clean and the most comfortable beds we have had in Thailand. The beach was clean as well. This was the nicest resort we have stayed in in years!
