Tala Diamanti is a stone house in the centre of Tala Village, situated on a narrow stone-paved lane. The house has an enclosed courtyard with a large pool and will give you complete privacy. You will be holidaying amongst friendly Cypriot families who have lived in the traditional stone houses that surround Tala Diamanti for generations. You will enjoy a real taste of authentic Cypriot village life.

The house itself is a blend of old Cypriot charm and modern amenities, a mix of the old and the new. It has a very bohemian feel with stone walls and wooden floors; tiles, pottery, textiles and paintings collected from our travels both in Cyprus and around the world. It is a vibrant and colourful home and has many stories to tell.

During the day, you will be able to lounge around the pool, soaking up the sun, or sit in the ample shaded areas. Dining options include an inside large wooden table in the kitchen/lounge area and an outdoor dining area by the pool... the choice is yours.

There is also a huge balcony on the first floor of the villa, where you can sit under the shades and sip cocktails, watching the sun go down, with a panoramic view of the rolling hills surrounding Tala and the sparkling Mediterranean sea beneath.

Tala Diamanti is just a stone’s throw from the village centre. You can walk into the square in less than a minute and enjoy all of the hustle and bustle that village life has to offer.

There are numerous tavernas and restaurants and bars within walking distance of the villa. You can choose from tavernas with traditional Cypriot fayre, but there are also restaurants with alternative menus including International cuisine.

If you want to venture further afield and decide to hire a car, there is convenient free parking in the main Tala car park close by to the house. Paphos city is a fifteen minute drive from Tala, as is Coral Bay, with its beautiful sandy beaches and numerous restaurants and bars.

If you love walking in nature, Tala Diamanti is the perfect base for you. You can take a stroll around the narrow paved lanes of Tala itself and discover the many old churches, as well as shops where artists and craftsmen pedal their wares.

For those who enjoy a longer walk, there are numerous hikes and scenic trails setting off from Tala, which if you choose, can then bring you back to the village where you can enjoy a coffee, a beer or a local wine in your favourite taverna.

The stunning Tala Monastery is an approximately twenty minute walk from the house (depending on your pace) and is a must for those interested in the history and culture of this beautiful island. There is also a café by the monastery where you can enjoy refreshments before the downhill walk back to your holiday home.

It offers tranquillity, peace and quiet and yet has the benefit of being in close proximity to life on the village square, as well as being only a short drive from everything that Paphos and the surrounding areas have to offer.
