“Thank you, Monica, for the lovely four nights we spent in your apartment in Bellagio in early June. We loved the location, in the middle of the old town, close to shops and restaurants, with meandering stairs/streets and lovely seafront. Especially loved the quiet mornings and evenings, and if streets were sometimes busy with tourists during the day, that was fine, we used that time to jump on a ferry to explore other villages for a few hours. Highlights--Varenna was a lovely village for lunch....

“The apartment was clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a short stay in Varenna. It is located very close to the local bars and restaurants and a 15 minute walk from the train station. The self check-in process was simple, although the instructions we were sent had the wrong box described for our apartment, but it was self explanatory once we got there as the boxes are all lettered. “This property was a nightmare. It was advertised as having AC, but only had one weak portable unit that couldn’t cool the home below 27C (80F), making it unsafe for our newborn who was overheating and crying nonstop. On top of that, we were warned not to use multiple electrical devices at once or risk losing power—making it impossible to use fans or cool the space.Worse, the water heater vented directly into the kitchen, filling the home with gas whenever hot water was used. “La casa rispecchia quanto riportato nell'annuncio. È molto comoda per chi vuole un accesso diretto agli impianti di risalita. Abbiamo soggiorno in 4 con un cane e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Comunicazioni con gli host molto facili e reattivi. ”

“Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wirklich hervorragend. Toller Ausblick vom Balkon, kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten an der Straße. Im Vorfeld hat man viele Informationen erhalten, sodass man alles schnell gefunden hat. Die Unterkunft selbst ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, relativ rustikal eingerichtet, das Sofa ist leider komplett durchgesessen. Es ist viel Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden. Wir hatten einige Probleme mit den Steckdosen, der Stecker der Waschmaschine passt nicht in die Steckdose....

“Wir hatten insgesamt einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Haus. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist top. Ebenso hat uns der Tennisplatz und der große Pool sehr gut gefallen. Kleine negative Punkte waren der recht kleine Balkon und ein Hund in der Nachbarschaft, der nachts oft bellte.”
