The cabin is located less two miles from the Parks Highway and 1/4 mile from Talkeetna's paved bike path that can be enjoyed year round. The cabin is also within walking distance to the states 2nd largest brewery....Denali Brewing Company! Guests can enjoy a private entrance/deck to access a cozy modern cabin that is equipped with all the amenities of home: a full kitchen with stainless steel countertops, full bath, washer/dryer, fire pit, propane grill and more! Very beautiful and clean. The surrounding area was beautiful. It was nice having a kitchen since nearby restaurants appeared to close fairly early. Host was prompt to respond to questions.

Loved Wild Rose Retreat! Was perfect for our stay in Talkeetna. Short drive into town and close to brewery which was a great place to have dinner and listen to music on a rainy evening! Holly was very accommodating and her place was clean and cozy! Thank you!

We stayed here for one night after our flight seeing tour of Denali. It was a perfect location and close to the cute town of Talkeetna.

The property was very nice. The room was clean and well equipped. It’s a decent space but is basically one big room with a bathroom. The bathroom is separate from living space, to be clear. The bathroom is cleverly designed but wouldn’t be great for tall people. The room has a lovely deck that looks out to the yard/trees. It is upstairs from the owners’ space and there were no noise issues. Plenty of parking also. It was close to Talkeetna and the brewery near the unit was very good.

Lovely, warm space convenient to talkeetna area attractions and businesses. Loved the outdoor space for the kiddos and host communication was great!

Clean comfortable, outside seating with fire pit. Coffee bar with good supply of coffee pods. Washer and dryer to use.Kitchen had everything needed to prepare food.Very peaceful would recommend and also stay again if in area.

Great location and a beautiful loft in the woods but not to farvoff the beaten path. Holly is a very accommodating host. 10/10 will stay here again

Nice and comfortable

The upstairs accommodations were clean, adequate for a couple. The bathroom was a tad small and awkward but that did not affect the stay. I would stay there again

Parking was easy. Instructions for entry were easy. Nice and clean. Bed was super comfy. Had a moose in the area that we had to be wary of. Other than it was a great experience. Loved the trivia night at Denali Brewing Company. If going to Denali in winter, the Winter Visitor Center is closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Lovely place and we appreciated our stay SO much. This is our problem - we didn’t pay attention to how far the property was from Talkeetna - it’s very close to the main highway, a very short way along the spur. It’s a very convenient location, we just thought ideas further down the spur. We also initially went to the rental next door, not realizing we were in the 2nd floor of the 2nd building. A sign or house number at the driveway would help. The shower is an unusual set up, but so very Alaska! The laundry in the owners back entryway was also a surprise, but it worked. It’s a little uncomfortable to have to move someone else’s items from the washer and dryer to do your laundry. It had everything we need and was quite lovely. The tips about food nearby were excellent!
