“Best approach , directly from main road. Parking is very good. Food is excellent. Staff behavior is very polite with prompt response. Property is spread across a large area with various stay options (type of rooms) , so no congestion and ample space for walking / activities. A very good location indeed in hilly terrain like Bhimtal.”

“My recent stay at Sterling Hotel Nainital was really excellent. The staff were excellent; my room was clean, spacious, and had a wonderful view of the hills and peaks; and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff in the restaurant, especially Manoj Bisht, was fantastic, always being on hand to answer any questions, and going out if their way to make sure everything was to my liking.”

“This resort was a discovery by chance and turned out to be a beautiful surprise. We booked for 2 nights and loved it so much that extended our stay for 3rd night. Fern Hill Resort is located in Bhimtal, very near to the lake. The property is well maintained, very clean and has lovely landscaping. They have blooming varieties of flowers potted in beautiful pots all over. The interiors are also very nicely done. The property is only 5 months old and you would love the cleanliness maintained by...

“I liked the entire mountainous surroundings, accommodation facilities, service staff, excellent food. Although I had read about and knew of the steep hill I have to climb down to Itimenaan Estate, i found myself totally unprepared for the very challenging and steep climb made more dangerous because of moist and slippery rocks. Not for faint hearted. But the beauty of the surroundings makes it all worthwhile.”

“Excellent place to chill out with good hikes down the valley to a waterfall and a nearby village .Very courteous and cooperative staff.. good food. The 15-20 minutes' walk to the property from Calnichilla village road head (vehicles have to be left here) is a bit challenging..the uphill climb, on return, is rather challenging and not suitable for the physically unfit”

The authenticity, simplicity, quality and serendipity of the hotel and its location overlooking the Ramgarh valley defines our stay for 3 nights here.
