We are located in the middle of a dry tropical forest in the most bio diverse country on the planet and we fumigate monthly. The gate wheels have since been cleaned and regreased. We have incredible safety and security here as everything is privately gated. The public water system was having maintenance for maybe a few hours. This happens only occasionally and never lasts long. We are exactly 250 meters from the beach and the walk takes no longer than 10 minutes and has to be one of the most gorgeous on earth. National Geograohic comes to document our beach walk through the mangrove. Our guests receive exclusive paid access from us. These renters came from living in a 20 story penthouse. The husband said he really loved the house and his wife is just not used to the nature. I think she arrived just too stressed out and depressed from the city and unable to handle some peace and quiet. We tried everything to make them feel at home and give a great experience. They seemed to really enjoy the monkeys in the yard. I really hope the very best for them.

Si vous ouvrez les rideaux, il fait très clair dans toute la maison. il y a une grande terrasse qui s'étend de la chambre principale arrière jusqu'à l'avant, bordée de hamacs et d'un patio supplémentaire à l'avant de la maison. La maison est décrite très précisément avec des photos. Ils étaient très heureux de toutes les antiquités et des différentes œuvres d'art et ont demandé une visite guidée de chacun d'eux. C'étaient des gens adorables mais très pressés d'aller d'un endroit à l'autre. Je pense que c'était difficile pour eux d'être loin de la ville et de simplement se détendre. Ce fut néanmoins un grand plaisir de les rencontrer.

We think a gecko may have ended up interfering with the line, as this was the first it has ever happened, and only when running everything in the house at the same time. You were here during Easter weekend, otherwise it would have been fixed sooner. We want our guests to have zero problems during their stays with us and we pay our workers double and triple the going rates in order to expedite the fixing of any issues that come up on our guests trip. Also there are additional pillows in the middle master closet, and we will be adding even more to our bedrooms, currently 3 to every bed. There are a few more restaurants that just went up, as well as a small outdoor shopping center with some great souvenir shops and specialty foods. We would really love to have you back one day. There is Zero Black Mold here. A couple of our walls needed painting and we have since painted every signal room. We also buy brand new pillows and sheets and blankets constantly so that there is never any black mold here ever. This was an extortion move. Additionally, I will not let VRBO rent our listing to teen agers ever again after this. They were supposed to arrive at 5:00pm and instead arrived at 10:00pm after what seemed to me like a long night of partying. I stayed up very late worrying for them as they were supposed to arrive before sundown they said. Every time I asked if they needed anything she said they were happy with a giant smile. I lost count of how many times I asked. I advised her to please keep the doors closed as we are in a dry tropical forest with lots of wildlife, that includes insects. They did not. There are scorpions that live here in this dry tropical forest, even at the JW Marriott a mile away for $1000/night. They are like bees and not very poisonous. They are easy to kill with the back of a sandal or shoe. I have only been stung once in my 19 years here and it barely phased me. Also we leave a can of bug spray for our renters just in case. This is the jungle and we get lots of monkeys, parrots, wild cats, and amazing wildlife, etc because of this. This is the most bio diverse country on earth. She wanted to party in Tamarindo and asked for a refund so she can go party their for the 2nd of 2 nights. When I didn’t give her a full refund for her stay over 24 hours after arriving and sleeping in and using the house, she through a fit and than tried to extort us with a bad review. For the record, we had 2 cleaning ladies, a gardener, and our maintennace man, their preparing in great detail for their arrival. It was a lot of expense to accommodate them. We pay all our workers very well. Double and tripped the normal rates. We had others lined up to rent these dates that we made available to her. We have a new casita that is well over 40ft away from this house with a huge hedge of lemon trees and only a small amount of green mesh running across 2 mango trees to help with aesthetics while more grow in. There is no ‘junk’ here. We have over 1/2 acre here and there are 3 different properties. She saw spring cleaning to our bodega. We have only genuine reviews and we gets tons of repeat visitors for a reason. Our listing in fact, has been attacked by many bots as we have been so successful here. In fact our 2 vacation rentals we have here have been consistently the top 2 rental houses on VRBO for playa avellanas for well over 10 years, out of well over 200 local listings.

This renter was so problematic as of 6 months prior to arriving. We always do our very best to do everything we can for our renters. The front gate makes our property extremely secure and safe. The wheels of the gate have been re greased and opens so easily now. The breaker box has a cover and has been completely rebuilt. We have been making lots of improvements. These renters arrived at the end of rainy season where this whole region was very humid. We do not have mold. We throw out any pillows or linens that ever even get damp. Lysol is used to disinfect thoroughly throughout COVID and it’s very expensive here but we take cleanliness seriously. We get so many 5 STAR ⭐️ reviews and so many incredibly happy visitors.

We send every renter gps directions right to our front gate, along with the code for the front gate lock, and plenty of photos to illustrate. We also send our phone number and Whats App information for easy communication. There were lots of bowls in the cabinet, and extra thick blankets in the walk in closets. Most people prefer light sheets here in the tropics though the ACs can get extremely cold if you want. There was small condensation from 1 of the 3 giant AC units, so I got the technician right over their. We are always quick to fix anything. We have 3 houses and a storage unit full of any items needed. We ask if our renters need anything at all constantly. This person could not even figure out how to work the 4 digit smart lock into the house. We have since sent an electrician and fixed a couple outlets that needed attention. There were another 20 outlets or so in the house. This person was problematic. We are always happy to help with anything no matter how big or small.
