Wonderful property and the view is exceptional. Tons of wildlife right in the backyard. We saw tons of monkeys, iguanas, and other lizards. The only negative was that they were quite a lot of ants in the house with the majority being in the lower unit. The lower unit could use some more thorough cleaning in the bathroom, but the upstairs unit was very tidy.We did find a massive scorpion in one of the upstairs bedrooms so that was alarming, but also kind of cool to see.Honestly, I just think that bugs are to be expected in Costa Rica and it’s not a true negative specific to this place. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to others.Beach was great, restaurants nearby were fabulous, Missy the dog was a fun plus to have around. We all had a great time! Most Airbnb‘s have a washer/dryer for guest use and the listing can look a little deceiving because on the summary of amenities it says laundry, but it is for a fee. Just mentioning it in case anyone is planning on doing their own, plan on fifteen dollars per load.We did see multiple people try to walk up the stairs from the beach thinking that it was a public access. I think it would be smart for the owners of the two properties sharing that access to put up a small gate or signage saying that it’s not a thoroughfare.Again, this was a great stay and the critiques are minor!
