The location of this unit was absolutely perfect. Between 2 on-site restaurants, seconds from the water, all the amenities you would want and beautiful sunsets just by sitting outside our unit with the accommodating chairs.This truly is a "hidden gem" and one we will come back to as often as we can. Job well done by the owners and host.

The pictures on the listing tell a whole different story story. The pool is mediocre. Beware it closes early as heck. 7 pm. That’s terrible for summer time. We were given the wrong code to enter our unit. And was stuck outside for an hour. There is NO WATER PARK. LAZY RIVER OR ANYTHING LIKE IT NOT EVEN CLOSE BY. it’s 50 min away

The room had a musty smell to it the entire time and there were bugs on the floor! The lights above stove and sink did not work. The lock malfunctioned! And worst of all, there was a yellow stain on the bedspread! I will not ever stay in that particular room again.

Wonderful , useful amenities in the room and on location!! Lovely clean room. The only thing we could say is the second bed on kitchen side squeaks whenever my sister moved. But i can't mark off points for that. Will definitely stay again!

room was as expected.what was somewhat disappointing was there was 1 garbage bag for a 21 day stay,no beach chairs. Room was available when we got there at 3:00pm but we had to sit outside the unit until 4:00pm as instructed.That said we did have a nice stay.

Dirty bathroom, dirty towels, broken lock and front door. Poorly maintained unit. No onsite maintenance or staff after check in time. Worst travel experience I have ever had.

Positives: we enjoyed the pool, quietness and scenery, the presence of a kitchen and plenty available parking. Negatives: 1) The door wouldn’t lock behind us when we were leaving the unit. We had to figure out how to get it to lock. (2) We found a half-dead roach upon checking in. (3) There was a lingering odor and we had to buy plug in air fresheners to mask it. (4) There was a checklist indicating that the unit was cleaned, but we found hair everywhere. We swept 2X and were still finding hair. There was hair on the faucet, pillow, under the beds and lots on the entry mat. (5) The fridge self-defrosted 2X. The first time there was water over the kitchen area floor. (6) The air from the A/C smelled musty, almost like it has mold. (7) On the 6th morning of 8, the code wouldn’t work on the door, and neither the key in the lockbox. We reported this around 9:00 AM, left the unit around 12:00, came back shortly after 6:00 and it had not been fixed. We had to wait 3 hours out in the heat until a locksmith entered the lock and cut keys for us to use for the rest of our stay. He left at 9:00.

Nice property. Nice room. My only ding on it was the hot water never hot above luke warm no matter how long you let it run or what time of day it was. Other than cool showers it was a nice place to stay.

The entry door was broken, and anyone could have gotten in the first night that we were there. An extremely nice young man came the next day and tried to fix it, but was unable to because of the shape of the door. He came back two days later with a brace to put on the door. He said the door had been in that condition for 4 years. The room looked good upon arrival at 11:00pm, but morning time…. it needs a lot of tender, love and care. The bed linens are extremely old. . I have photos that were taken of the dirty floor and the mat at the front sink. I was very disappointed of what I got and what I thought I was going to get. It needs a 24/7 cleanup detail.

Perfect location

Stayed 2 weeks and loved every day. Was close to pools, restaurants, water and local eateries. Watched dolphins every day, along with beautiful sunsets. Unit was great. Roomy and had everything needed for our stay. Will definitely return.

Beautiful, clean, quiet, friendly, convenient. Well appointed kitchenette. Walk to the beach or your choice of 2 restaurants. Like new amenities with everything you need. Pier for fishing and sunsets, adirondack chairs for relaxing. Pickleball, corn hole, shuffleboard, bocce ball, tennis, basketball, dog park, 2 pools, playground, workout facility, vending and ice machines. Overall excellent. Everything you need for a getaway. Excellent value! Will be back!

Room was very musty and should have been aired out prior to guest arrival. Floors were so dirty that my son’s feet were black after crawling around so clearly had not been freshly cleaned. We were not provided even a full new roll of toilet paper. And the property management team was not very responsive and when questioned about toilet paper they stopped responding. The latch on the door was not very secure and wiggled a lot when you pulled on the door. Did not make me feel very safe.

Family Short Trip

We had gone for a brief family get together-my sister who recently had passed. She lived nearby in this beautiful area that is off the unbeatin path. We even met people from St. Pete that had never heard of Ruskin?.LOL I love this area and hope it never grows any bigger. Never had a need to make accommodations before but I will in the future to visit my family. Perfect place and location.

It survived the recent storm surge. Cleaned up good. The door latch is held in by silicon. Must have been torn into when storm came in. Lights bulbs out.
