Beautiful 3 br 2 ba. Home on the Alafia River, 15 Min. from Tampa

This beautiful waterfront home on the Alafia River is 1 no-wake zone away from Tampa Bay & situated 1/2 mile from Williams Park boat ramp! The river offers fishing, water sports & hospitality. You are welcome to bring your boat, jet ski (docking available in the backyard), kayaks & fishing rods! It is normal to see dolphin, manatees, snook, redfish, sharks, stingrays from the backyard. This beautiful 3/2 home has scenic views with open floor plan. If you're looking for a nice waterfront restaurant we often visit Fin's or Circles in Apollo Beach, Joia on Gibsonton Drive, Rivers Edge or Tiki Docks on the Alafia, & Little Harbor in Ruskin. All noted restaurants are 5-20 mins away! The International Independent Showmen's Association Event Center and Museum is close to property and they have tours of the Museum. It can sometimes be noisy during some events. ( A few days a year). Please check for times and dates before booking if you have concerns.

The property was great! Very clean! Nice screened in back porch. Beds were very comfortable. I wish the master bedroom had a bigger bed. It was a full or queen but was tight with me and husband. Warning there is no dishwasher but a very spacious kitchen. I would stay here again.

This house was perfect for our family. We loved the peaceful view and sitting on the deck. Thankfully there were no events going on so the only noise we heard was the sound of trains passing by in the distance.
Brought our paddle boards with us to enjoy the River.
Dolphins swam up close to us when we were near the bridge.

Beautiful house, nice Neighbors and prlenty of room!!! Two things I would recommend: i am a bigger guy and was a little nervous in the dock,the dock could use a little TLC. The only other thing all the remotes for the light and fans. If they were labeled it would help alot.The house is far enough way from places you don't have the traffic, but close enough , that it doesn't take an hour to get from anywhere in and around Tampa!!!

Gary is a great host. Answered all my questions about the property. The location in the water couldn’t be beat. Close to Tampa but relaxing away from city traffic. Easy to get to airport and Busch gardens and lots of food options around.

Retreat on the river

Stayed about a month. The house made entertaining easy. Kayaking right off the private dock was special. Could even paddle across the river for a meal at Riverview restaurant! Gary was very accommodating and communication was excellent.

Convenient

Worked out great for me as I was in town working on storm damage. Me and my guys enjoyed it. Rite on the canal maybe 150 yards to the Alafia river. Did a little fishing. But was very convenient for me being rite between my job and my distributors. Stayed for 2 weeks , Place was clean and equipped with the essentials. Gary was prompt in responding to any questions I had. Would stay again anytime.

My recovery stay

I just had a heart transplant at TGH and needed to stay within an hour of the hospital for my first month out. I am so grateful to have found this great home to rent for the month. It was the perfect spot to emerge back into the world after being in the hospital for 6+months. The house is really clean...freshly renovated...screened in patio was such a pleasure and having the river right out the back yard was so peaceful. The host was very hospitable and helpful and responded very quickly to any messages or questions I had. I highly recommend this VRBO option to everyone. It's bittersweet to leave...wish we were staying longer.

Great Stay!

Very clean, spacious comfortable home. Nice size screened in porch to unwind. Plenty of seating with Large TV's in every room. 2 good size bathrooms. Would stay there again.
