Baite a Tannersville

“If reliable air conditioning is important to you, I would not recommend staying here.We arrived to find the house around 80F because all of the A/C units were turned off. We were sweating as soon as we walked in, and despite following the host’s instructions, the mini-split system never worked properly. The upstairs bedroom repeatedly shut off, which also caused the living room and downstairs bedroom units to stop cooling. We had to restart the units multiple times throughout our stay, and we...

“My husband and I did not stay. We could not stay because as we entered the house it smelled stale, it was dark & dank. The photos didn’t show how steep the stairs are. What looks like a basement is actually the first floor. The kitchen, living room bathroom and bedroom are all on the second floor. I have bad knees so I couldn’t navigate those stairs comfortably. Also no closets. I reached out to VRBO and the owner to at least refund the cleaning cost to no avail. This property is NOTHING as...

“⚠️ WARNING – VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! ⚠️ We arrived at this property in the Poconos around 8 PM, and from the moment we walked in, we were extremely disappointed. There was a strong unpleasant smell throughout the rooms, the door was broken, and the hot tub was not ready to use and needed hours to heat up. Because of the condition of the property, we decided to leave the very next morning around 9 AM. Afterward, the owner tried to charge us for damages that, from our experience, were already...

“We're hoping to have a wonderful vacation getaway with really important family that came to visit so we spent a lot of money for just 2 days at this location. The pictures look very promising and the outdoor amenity through the hot tub were great. However, when we got there, the situation quickly changed. The furniture is stained and looks to showled because they decided to put white fabric on everything. Outdoor area was dusting and dirty. The cushions for the outdoor furniture were stained and...

“We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and everything felt cozy from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the wood-burning stove it made the winter atmosphere even more special. Enjoying the sauna and the hot tub while surrounded by snow was truly a highlight. The location is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The kitchen was fully functional with everything we needed. Honestly, the only thing we wished for was more time...

“Very nice property, clean, attentive hosts, easy check-in and check-out.”

“Gorgeous place that I would highly recommend. Great location, felt very private, comfortable space with great spots for playing games, watching TV or relaxing outside. I always want to stay somewhere that isn't just a 'place to sleep' but feels like a vacation in itself, even if we don't leave the house, and this spot fit the bill. We will definitely be back!”
