Not the Greatest
Our experience started off good with the host. Communication was great but then with 2 weeks to go until our stay it was like she dropped off the face of the earth. We asked several times about payment with no answer, we called and left messages and VRBO even called and no answer. We were so concerned we were trying to book another place but VRBO said we would not be refunded any money should the house still be able to stay in. They actually wanted us (13 people) to go to PA from CT NOT knowing if we actually had a house to stay in. They said if something happened they would get us another house. How would they do that in a short period of time. What would we have done while that was going on. So 4 hours before our check in we got an email/text from the host wioth all our instructions. So mind you it was just a generic update/check in. No apologies or anything. I then responded and asked again about early check in because that was one of our questions that went unanswered before. The host did get back saying that she would check with the cleaners and let us know and NOT to my surprise she did not get back to us. Now onto the house. Upon first arrival when opening the door there was a strong odor of what smlled like urine. It was bad enough that we had to go to Yankee Candle at the outlets to get candles and some plug ins. That eventually worked the smell away. The smell was really only in the kitchen and living area. Also no hot water.cut short,only allowed 1500 characters.
