“Charming, peaceful location; excellent getaway from city life.”

“Very good.”

“Perfect for our one night stay. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Friendly people”

“Was a most pleasant stay - lots of information, lots of chats and laughs. And Fin (dog) is really gorgeous. I loved my stay here. Really nice people.”

“Beautiful cottage and very well presented. Kitchen excellent, lovely lounge area and outside deck amazing. Bedrooms great with very comfy beds. Highly recommended.”

“Check in was terrific and the space is very nice and as pictured. Very short drive to Matamata which was a really nice town. Hobbiton is of course also very close. Julie was very personable and her baked goods provided in the room were amazing! A great stay passing through the north island.”

“First impression was wow, nice and secluded but still close to town. Property was more than we expected. Communication was always so easy and straight forward. House was clean and had everything you would need. The host had supplies in the fridge for their guest which was a great touch. Washing machine if needed. Extras also if you wanted to enjoy the property. WiFi was provided which was a bonus. If you are looking for a quite getaway from the city slicking life, this is a place you should...

“We recently stayed here as we were flying in overseas for a wedding. The location was perfect, however that is the only positive. Sadly the listing was nothing as described. “A wonderful house to stay, great location to all activities. Everything possible supplied. The spa wondeful to relax in. Great stay”

“Charming location with a serene lakeside view.”

“Our stay was enjoyable, quite and easy to find. It was close enough to Rotoruas main attractions without having to travel far but nice not to be in busy main town, when u are used to the quite country. the cottage had everything we needed and communication was easy. Would recommend it to others and would use again ourselves.”

“Laneway Cottage was just perfect! Had everything we needed - especially since this was a last minute trip for us! Karen made check in and check out seamless. Great to be close to the mall and other shops. Cottage had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals too! The welcome sign was so thoughtful ❤️ We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!”

“This place needs an upgrade. The carpet is stained and has holes in it. The beds are awful, and worn out! ”
