“We stayed in cabin 3, which is a basic one bedroom that had a nice lake view. The cabin itself was clean, and if you were planning on cooking would adequate. There was a dresser and various hooks, and some shelves for belongings. It is advertised as having a sofa bed, but this is not the case. There is a low, wood frame, single bed, like a child’s bed almost, which does not in any way provided a sofa like place to sit. “Stayed for a few nights with a group of girlfriends. Overall loved the location and closeness to the lake/dock. The four bedrooms split between two floors worked well for us. Only issue was some items were not stocked for us prior to arriving but were delivered when requested. Also, there should be a note about how steep the driveway is to access the unit as this may make it hard to access for some individuals. All in all we really enjoyed our time in Blind Bay and would stay here again!”

“Buena Vista is a lovely location with cozy cabins and their decks about a metre apart overlooking Mara lake. The neighbours were very near but quiet and considerate. The lake was warm and the rocky beach and dock area felt private and well cared for. We had a very nice time.”
