“Very convenient location, just 2 blocks from the bus terminal and the main square. Walking distance to everything in Baños.The room was nice and well equipped. They have a very large terrace on the roof. The owner is also a tour guife so he can arrange rafting and other tours, they also have bicycles to rend. The family who takes care of this hotel is super nice. I got bitten by a dog in Baños and they took me to the nearby hospital and waited for me to be treated. A very big thanks!”

“Petronio and his staff were absolutely wonderful! So kind, super accommodating and helpful. The rooms were very unique, and the view overlooking the town and across to the volcano was just stunning. Breakfast was delivered to our door each morning in a little basket, and the staff booked us cabs when we were ready to go into town. Although with the breeze, the birdsong, the clouds, and the volcano, I could have stayed put for the entire trip!”

“It's a hostel, not a hotel, so if your expectations are set appropriately, this is a superb find. A bit out of town - 15 mins walk downhill into town and a $1.50 taxi ride home - but nestled at the foot of the mountains. So much nicer than the hundreds of hostels surrounded by karaoke bars near the bus station in town. Run by the nicest, most obliging family. A fabulous breakfast included. Recommended most highly.”

“Bettina and Darwin are the most hospitable hosts imaginable. There are only 2 rooms, so you immediately feel one of the family. My room was divine, colourful and comfortable. Breakfast with a breathtaking view over Banos, under the supervision of their two llamas grazing nearby. It’s worth coming to Banos just to stay here. Only caution- the road is very steep. My taxi wouldn’t take me up as it had been raining. There is a driveway - i should have taken the left fork by foot, instead i...
