Great hosts, amenities and close to beautiful beaches
We had a terrific time at this property. Shorelette provided great hospitality, always available and offering suggestions and information. We arrived on a Sunday and were unaware grocery stores were closed. She offered to pick up a few groceries for us which was very helpful. She provided great suggestions for beaches and restaurants to visit. We enjoyed several visits with Shorelette and Joe and hearing about life on Eleuthera.
The cabin is as described in the listing. It is a small cabin and had all we needed for the week we were there. We loved the creative touches Shorelette added to the cabin. She is is a talented artist and we enjoyed seeing her studio and the items she creates. The deck on the water (shoreline is rocky but beautiful) and lovely for morning coffee or evening sunsets. We appreciated using a kayak right off the deck. We drove to the several beaches, all beautiful. I think we went to 6 different ones, all had beautiful sand, lots of room for long walks ( we walked 2 miles and could have gone further on a couple of them) and best of all we were the only ones on the beaches. If you are looking for terrific beaches, a laid back vibe with kind and friendly people and locally owned restaurants (no chain restaurants) this place is for you.
