“We needed somewhere to stay with our dog and this limits your choices. However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again.
Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs...

“We were greeted with a handshake which is always a good start. Our hosts, Neil and Rosemarie were welcoming and eager to make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower. We were pleased with the coffee machine and the fridge on the landing for the cold milk. The small touches are what makes this hotel a special one. The bar downstairs proved popular to watch the world cup and we appreciated the hospitality during the evening. Breakfast was cooked to...
“Exceptional stay , staff were delightful and very helpful & supportive.
Breakfast & evening dinner were incredible , perfectly cooked eggs at breakie and fabulous quality of food for both supper and breakfast - definitely recommend.
We had a balcony room which was beautiful , overlooking the cricket pitch and was thing horses and tractors come passed, love it.”
