“The house is lovely, so lovely in fact that I wouldn't mind living in it permanently as the layout suited our family so perfectly. The first night was very windy, which did make sleeping difficult, but that would have been the case with any house in an open field in that wind. The location was also ideal - close enough to shops and restaurants, but rural enough to feel like a real breakaway from city life. The only thing I would have changed is to maybe have one or two of the wardrobes unlocked...

“Lovely property. Very clean and great location. Great outside area. Would suggest a couple of small improvements - spray and wipe for cleaning down surfaces, more dish cloths and some more shade/privacy in the master bedroom - it looks straight into the neighbours lounge and you don’t want to pull the whole blind down which darkens the room. ”

“Forest House is warm, comfortable, spacious and attractively furnished. It is in a private and quiet setting close to Lake Ferry and Martinborough. The cleaning fee was on the high side for just 2 people, but it was very clean and well maintained and there was no problem keeping warm in winter with the fire and Air conditioning. Great communication, enjoyed our time at Forest House. Only thing we missed was a normal sized oven tray and a normal sized cheese grater! Other than that, perfect.”

“Lovely spot, clean, warm, loved the spa! I left my stainless steel bowl there but you can keep it in the kitchen. Great comms and friendly neighbourhood. We’d love to come back. Kitchen is super well stocked. Great proximity to bike ride to town ”

“Lots of space, and everything you might need for a weekend away. The kids enjoyed the sauna and spa pool especially. The lovely big garden is nice for a wander.”

“Echt authentisch in dem Wagon zu Übernachten, manchmal ist es etwas eng was aber natürlich dem geschuldet ist das es sich um einen echten Eisenbahn Wagon handelt. Sonst ist an sich alles da was man braucht um ein paar Tage dort zu verbringen :)”
