The Old Malthouse si trova nel cuore del villaggio di Monksilver, a pochi minuti a piedi dall'importante pub Notley Arms. Ci sono una serie di sentieri designati vicino alla proprietà tra cui la famosa Via Coleridge. La struttura dispone di tre camere da letto (due doppie e una singola), in grado di ospitare fino a 5 persone in totale. Vi è un ampio soggiorno con camino inglenook e log-bruciatore. We had an enjoyable stay at Old Malthouse. The property was just as described when we booked. Was comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. Good location for visiting the area. Countryside, coast, towns and villages all close by.

Escape the rat race

It is a very cosy , good sized cottage situated in a lovely quiet hamlet with a choice of country walks from the door. It was convenient for exploring the coast and moors and other places of interest. We enjoyed our stay but the courtyard area really needs updating

Really enjoyed our stay,so peaceful and relaxing. We were out every day and the weather was really kind to us considering it was January. The notley arms pub was literally a 30 second walk away which served great food,and Caroline and Simon were great hosts. On the whole was a lovely location and cottage. Would love to know a bit more history about the cottage and village.

Had a great Christmas, the cottage was lovely, clean and very well equipped with everything you need

Had a great Christmas, the cottage was lovely, clean and very well equipped with everything you needed. The location was ideal as my husband had just came out of hospital, and the local Notley arms pub/restaurant was 2 minutes walk away, such a lovely little village. Will definitely be rebooking, as will our daughters family who was also with us. So close to lots of attractions.

Second time there...just great. If I have one very miniscule gripe it would be to provide more wood for the first night not three logs in total, but it is minor like I mentioned. Will stay again for sure.
