Villa Baleia is a charming and welcoming villa in the exclusive village of Pedras d'el Rei (municipality of Tavira), where your stay in the Algarve will be unforgettable!

With its very distinctive architecture, it is located within the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve, surrounded by wonderful and unique salt marshes.

This house has been designed and furnished to provide maximum comfort for you, your family, and friends. It faces south and, thanks to its privileged location, boasts wonderful sea views from the garden or terrace.

Here you will find four bedrooms fully equipped with air conditioning, three of which have double beds and one with two single beds. The Villa also has three bathrooms (two with showers and one with a bathtub), as well as two comfortable living rooms, also equipped with air conditioning (a summer room and a winter room), comfortably accommodating up to 8 people.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including, for example, a microwave, oven, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, and washing machine, as well as all the necessary equipment for cooking.

You will also find two dining areas, one inside, in one of the living rooms, and another outside, with a pleasant garden view.

Outside the Villa, specifically in the garden, you will find a dining table, chairs, a parasol, and a barbecue, in an intimate and inviting space. Summer dinners at Villa Baleia are therefore something not to be missed!

The Villa's amenities also include bed linen and towels (available on site), as well as access cards to the resort's swimming pool and the train that connects to Barril Beach.

Villa Baleia is located approximately 200 meters from the resort's swimming pool (usually open between April and November) and also from the tennis court. As for the traditional train that connects to Barril Beach, it is about 600 meters away, meaning guests will not need a car to get to the beach.

Barril Beach, located about a 15-minute walk from the Villa, is considered one of the best beaches in Portugal, and during the walk (or train ride), guests will be enchanted by the beauty of the salt marshes in the Ria Formosa nature reserve.

Parking - Guests will find a private parking lot at Villa Baleia (up to 4 cars). Guests can also park at the Pedras del Rei resort (free of charge), or in the public parking lot near the access road to "Praia do Barril" (paid parking).

Tennis Court - To use the tennis court, guests must make a reservation (subject to availability) directly at the Resort reception. Please check prices at the resort reception.

The restaurant at the "Vale d'el Rei" resort is approximately 200 meters from the Villa.
24-hour reception
Bar da Nora and the pool bar (Kaipiroskas) are also located about 200 meters from Villa Baleia.
In Santa Luzia and Tavira you will find good restaurants (don't hesitate to ask for recommendations).

At the unforgettable Barril Beach, guests can find the perfect conditions to relax and enjoy the sun, as well as the warm, crystal-clear waters that characterize this part of the Algarve coast. They can also practice some water sports.

Nearby, specifically in Cabanas de Tavira or Cacela Velha, you will find the Benamor Golf Club or the Quinta da Ria Golf Club.

In Tavira you will find several local operators offering boat trips and cruises (dolphin watching) and water sports such as SUP or kitesurfing.
