The fantastic Tavistock Town House

Our stay was just totally amazing. The Tavistock Town House is a beautiful, very well maintained family home in a perfect central location in Tavistock. Liz could not have been a more perfect helpful host. All the essentials and more are provided…the welcoming Afternoon tea and milk in the fridge was just the icing in the cake!…will definitely be planning another stay soon !!

Convenient location, pleasant stay

The check-in was seamless. Although we were slightly later than anticipated, Liz left clear instructions re: getting access to the property and parking. The house has everything you need for a stay, so you won't need to bring anything extra (ie washing liquid, dishwashing capsules, toiletries etc). There is even a collection of books to choose from. The property was conveniently located, so you won't need your car to get around the town. There are restaurants/cafes/takeaway/supermarket within walking distance. We had a pleasant stay at this house.

Great alternative to a hotel, in a great location.

We had a wonderful stay at the Tavistock Town House. We stayed as a family of 3 with an extra teen for a couple of nights. We were welcomed by the house owners who were very friendly and provided us with all of the information that we needed. They also contacted us during our stay to check that everything was ok. The house is located perfectly for the town with street parking outside the front door or on other streets close by. We didn't have a problem finding a parking space. The shops and restaurants are literally on the door step. The house itself has recently been renovated. It is a traditional house but has been decorated with a modern style whilst keeping it in sync with the old house style too. Reception rooms were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Each of the 3 bedrooms was ensuite and all are spacious. The little outside area was an additional bonus, although we didn't really get a chance to sit out in the garden. However we did have breakfast on the small terraced area at the back. We had a fantastic stay here, a much better option than a hotel room. We will definitely be back if we come to stay in tavistock again. Highly recommended.

Super clean and comfortable

A fabulous stay. Everything was super clean and very comfortable. Excellent property for friends to share. We were 2 couples and having an en-suite to every double room plus 1 extra made mornings and getting ready for days/nights out much easier. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. There is parking outside, but with a 1 hour limit between 9-5, however we parked on the road behind the house and left the car there until our departure. The town is on your doorstep so the car was not needed.
