Lodge a Taylor Bay

“I really want to give 5 stars for this place- but unfortunately…,,,,The location and the house is stunning! But the let downs was the cleanliness. The spa was disgusting and had broken glass by the gate. Nearly every piece of cutlery, tray, plate and cup was dirty. No hand soap or dishwashing liquid. The first night no hot water. The fire pit is on a side of a hill- no chance for confit- and the house is 12 people- 3 double rooms 1 room with 4 bunks and a downstairs with 2 sofa beds. But no one...

“The room was clean and comfortable. Very close to local shops and fuel station. Accessible from other places to visit in Eildon.”

“Everything from the time I walked in the Deluxe room was perfect. Everything I needed was available from clean rooms, nice view everything working, electric blanket to keep extra warm at night. There is a bistro that serves delicious meals lunch/dinner. An all staff are friendly and willing to help if you need anything else. Definitely a great place to stay an quite too.”

“Both the accommodation and restaurant were pleasant with nice staff. The complimentary breakfast was cereals and toast. There were some maintenance issues in our room which were reported and were being attended to. A nice place for a couple of nights.”

“Room and facilities were perfect for a family of 5, the beds were comfy and sheets crisp and clean. The only downside was that surfaces (bed side tables, top of fridge) were a bit dusty and had been forgotten about in the clean. Regardless, we would be happy to stay there again. ”
