Ville a Te Anau

“Very good and tactical accomodation for reaching Milford sound, the area is overall very good. Personnel was very nice and helpful, bedroom comfortable, albeit a bit cold. Good breakfast and parking”

“Simple, clean and in good location”

“L’albergo é ok, colazione a buffett ok, stanze un po’ vecchie, prezzo e prestazione non adeguata. Non ci tornerei. ”

“The place conveniently located. Michael at the front desk was very helpful.”

“Overall acceptable “motel” but probably not worth the value , it’s close to the lake but certainly not to the front. The “front” of the rooms offer fantastic views and sounds from a trafficking road instead. Rooms are pretty old fashioned and the bed was garnished with a brownie fake ( and dusty) fur. Welcoming was excellent though but certainly not sufficient to compensate.”

“From the moment you click on the website, its premise is based on a lie, for ‘Lakeside Te Anau Accommodation’ it is not! The room is relatively clean, no doubt helped by the bed bug warnings emblazoned on the room walls. It is rather quaint, the room decor and bedspreads reminding me of my great grandma’s place, bless her soul, with warnings about fines for not doing the dishes to an appropriate standard again reminding us of the history of a bygone era. Beware of breaking the rules as you...

“Great stay at Shakespeare House! Nice clean room and very modern. Great owners who were helpful with recommendations if things to do and providing assistance where needed”

“Very comfortable motel, nice owner and convenient location in Te Anau”

“Alloggio e struttura essenziale, bagno un po’ freddo. Ottima accoglienza ed assistenza da partre del pestonale alla reception.”

“This was ok. We had to change our plans last minute so had to book late. This was no fuss. Thank you. Heat pump running all night downstairs was a bit distracting. Neighbour's talking on phone outside until 9.30pm annoying but not your fault. Staff issues so we never actually met anyone from there but that was OK. Extensive renovations going on at the moment (Sept 2026)which was a worry at first but it didn't affect us.”

“The room was a suite and was rightly upgraded in terms of space and amenities in room compared to the day before . Cafeteria quality and variety of food were limited however .”

“Great spot to look out over the water and mountains. A couple of things that weren't so great were: the shower leaked really badly all over the floor and there was no extra drain the the bathroom to catch any of it. Also couldn't use the TV as I think the battery remote was flat. Could turn it on from the TV but couldn't do anything without the remote. It was later at night that we discovered this.”

“Molto comoda la posizione, hotel semplice ma camera pulita e grande sala ospiti nella struttura.”
