“Lovely property”

“Nice location between the shops and Waitangi Treaty Grounds. I was able to walk into town for groceries in just a few minutes - it's a lovely walk too, just above the shore. The ferry to Russell and Oteihei Bay is right there as well. There's a park with a playground at the end of the street. Paihia Apartments have a washer and dryer in the garage, plus a small kitchen. The owners are friendly. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“We had 6 glorious weeks in The Kereru’s Nest. Fay and James were wonderful hosts. A real home from home (with a pool, wonderful views, friendly locals, superb beach etc etc). I really miss the Old Packhouse Saturday market in Kerikeri and the splendid workout that the driveway gave us (we made it a daily ritual to walk down and back up again to get in our “steps”). Plenty of walks/tramps in the vicinity too for when we wanted to be more active. Thoroughly recommend. ”

“What a lovely setting. So quiet & peaceful, beautiful views, lots of amazing bird life in the subtropical gardens. We loved sitting on the deck with sundowners and walking through the garden & woods down to the beach. Just a special place to be. We were made to feel very welcome. Thank you.”

“Comfortable studio two blocks up from the center of town. My wife and I are in our 80's, and walked to the ferry to Russell, shuttle to Waitangi and the Inter-City bus to Auckland.Our host made sure we were comfortable and safe during Cyclone Tim. We ate excellent, interesting food at 4 of the many restaurants on the wharf, main street and one on Williams Rd... a short distance from the studio. Many neat little shops are stuffed between sandwich shops on the main st and adjacent alleys.Full of...
