Isolamento rustico vicino al Capitol Reef National Park

Isolato, ma vicino ai servizi. Recentemente aggiornato a casa su 6. 7 acri appena fuori dall'autostrada 24. Solo 4 minuti a ovest di ristoranti Torrey e altri servizi. Circondato da uno spazio aperto con viste spettacolari sulla Thousand Lake Mountain, Boulder Mountain e Henry Mountains. Il vicino più vicino è a oltre un miglio di distanza! C'è una buca per il fuoco e una griglia a carbone quando l'impulso colpisce per cucinare fuori o semplicemente per stare al caldo davanti a un fuoco sotto le stelle. Nessun vicino = nessuna luce = grande osservazione delle stelle. Ottime foto anche in tutte le direzioni!

Luminosa cucina aperta e zona pranzo. Stufa e forno a convezione sono più vecchi, ma hanno facilmente cucinato tutto per ospitare cene del Ringraziamento per 10.

Ottimo per i bambini con un sacco di spazio, giocattoli e un tavolo da ping pong nella sala giochi. Stereo più vecchio (insegna ai tuoi figli cosa sono i nastri!) e il nuovo lettore dvd tv plus 48 "(abbiamo anche un lettore VHS e alcuni nastri, per ulteriori lezioni di storia). La tv e la radio d'epoca nel soggiorno non funzionano, ma possono anche contribuire alla lezione di storia.

Ottime gite in bici o ATV, passeggiate nella natura e piste da corsa proprio fuori dalla porta principale (incredibile circuito per bici da strada da 17 miglia sotto il Cockscomb o ~ 12 miglia da corsa sulla vecchia strada di scarico), e naturalmente Capitol Reef National Park e molti altri altre meraviglie naturali sono facilmente raggiungibili con un breve tragitto in auto. Il ciclo della bici è stato gli ultimi 2 giri della tappa del Tour of Utah nel 2016.

Torrey ha ristoranti stagionali e tutto l'anno entro 2 miglia. Buona pizza, hamburger, cibo sudoccidentale tutto a breve distanza.

UTAZ IPA Tour 2025

Old retired guys out on an adventure to see the many sights in the area. The house was great, had a bit of trouble getting into the key lock, but the owner answered the call, and we got in easily. Had everything we needed, very comfortable. Loved that there were no neighbors close by.

Peaceful seclustion with magnificent views!

Such a wonderful property. It's just like it sounds... you have no neightbors and a wonderful seclusion. The property has magnficent views on all sides. The night skies are incredible! The host was so great about the couple inquiries I made. Perfect place for a family trip for a trip into Captial Reef and ATV riding.

Great Getaway Spot!

This property is just what we were looking for. It is centrally located to some beautiful hikes and drives, it had an amazing retro decor (with cassette tapes), and was well stocked. They had food bowls for the furry friends and a great yard for exploring and walking the dogs. Thank you so much for letting us stay here, I am sure we will be back again!

Unbeatable location

Absolutely gorgeous location, stunning views in every direction, feels like you’re miles from anyone else. We came for stargazing and the night sky was incredible. We loved the huge deck and comfy patio furniture - we sat outside for hours. We did a couple short scenic drives but mostly we didn’t want to leave! Everything was so comfortable … kitchen was clean and roomy with new appliances, Wi-Fi was as good as home (we had to do a bit of work during our stay), nice clean bathrooms, hot showers, plenty of blankets and towels, one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Torrey was so fun as well, we loved Etta Place Cider, and Hunt and Gather restaurant was phenomenal. We got coffee from Shooke and Dark Sky and both were great. From feeling like you’re living in total isolation, to gourmet food 5 minutes away 😋 Hope to be back soon!

We loved this property! It was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family (our 9, 7, and 2 year old kids loved it.) It felt like home: clean and welcoming, but well worn (in the best ways.) We were just a few minutes from Capitol Reef, which was beautiful. And the restaurants in Torrey were great. While we were at the house we played ping pong, watched movies, laid out on the patio to watch the stars, cooked, grilled, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Sean was helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Family reunion trip

This was the perfect property us to attend a large family reunion in nearby Lyman, UT. We had three elderly couples and a couple of adult children get together. The house is not fancy, but it had everything we needed. The best part is how isolated it sits from neighbors. We loved sitting out on the deck in the evening until it was really dark. The night sky was amazing without any light pollution. We were able to Capital Reef National Park, Boulder Mountain and other local hiking locations. Sean was a great host. Perfect place to use as a base camp to explore some of the most stunning natural beauty in Utah.

Great stay - again.

This is our second stay here and we love this place. Off by itself so the noise of kids and late night movies not a problem. Convenient for our nearby Capitol Reef National Park adventures. The owners are very, very responsive - the best we’ve experienced in our many rental stays. ALL of us recommend it!

Not just an oasis, it’s a gem!

Six of us friends enjoyed our visit to Capitol Reef National Park so much, thanks for the comfort and convenience of this house provided us. The owner has stocked the house more than my own home. We felt so relaxed and enjoyed all the convenience such as the big kitchen, the laundry room, the deck and the ping pong table in the basement. The WiFi worked just like downtown! Thank you!

Rustic charmer with great views

This home was perfect for our multi-generational group aged from 13-82. The location near Capitol Reef and Torrey made it a perfect launching point for exploring Utah’s parks. The beds were all comfortable and we were able to rest easy after our days of hiking and exploring. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The game room was great for our teens. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The views from the property are phenomenal and the area gave us plenty of options for dining and adventure.

Quiet home on a beautiful setting

We loved our stay at this home. Remote and beautiful but with easy access to Capitol Reef National Park. Well stocked and comfortable. The deck was especially wonderful. We sat outside a lot and enjoyed the beauty and the quiet. We were warned that GPS wouldn’t work and it was a little hard to find, but the owner was immediately responsive when I called and then it was easy. I highly recommend this rental. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Room to explore outdoors

Kitchen and basement like new, other areas of home rustic/dated, but comfortable. We had everything we needed to satisfy family members from 3 years old to 72. Night sky was unbelievable! Plenty of room to roam and explore on site. Beautiful deck and kitchen. We enjoyed every day.

Our family reunion has come to this property for 7 years in a row. Every year, the house keeps getting better with more upgrades. Peace and quiet

We specifically chose this house due to its location, which was far away from any other house. It was exactly what we were hoping for and had a very peaceful few days stay. Very clean and had everything we needed. We had no cause to contact the owners but they made themselves available to us if we had needed their help with anything. We appreciated being able to bring our two dogs with us.
