The bed was comfortable and the bed linen nice We loved staying in a traditional old building which felt like an event in itself. The building is quite scruffy and could definitely do with a lick of paint and some TLC. However, on balance this wasn't too important, to us. ”

“This was the best place I could have chosen for my week long visit to Valparaiso! Set atop a small hill a mile south of Sotomayor Square the guest house is in a more quiet neighborhood. This area is convenient for visiting the UNESCO areas, but much more peaceful and safe for walking around. The room (I chose #3) had a view of the garden/ courtyard and was always cool and comfortable even in the hot weather. “The hostel is just OK. However, it is located in one of the dirtiest parts of town but what really pissed me was that on the last day of 2018 it was not possible to leave the luggage after the check out although there was plenty of space for it. I would have left it there only a couple of hours. Because of that, I had to go to the beaches of Vina del Mar with my luggage! Service makes a difference and this was a nonsense. ”
