“The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The refrigerator and microwave were also clean and they both worked. My bed was very comfortable! The lobby did smell like marijuana, but my room did not. It was a one night stay when I went to a concert in downtown Detroit, so the location and price were important. ”

“Soap dispensers were empty. I requested replacement and never received one. Asked the second time the next day and the receptionist brought it to me and there were no other supporting staff to assist her.

There is no air conditioning which came from the ceiling but cold or hot air which was produced by a fan coil on the ground under the window which if you have to operate it is extremely noisy and raises the dirty curtains. “One of our bedside tables had dried used contacts stuck to them. Clearly the staff forgot to clean the tables.
Our room had us up all night because the room above us - anytime they moved all we could hear were squeaky floors like we were staying in an old war home.
When I brought both issues up to the staff they said on that’s horrible and then offered no solutions.”
