“It was a fantastic experience to be able to stay in a traditional home for a few nights. Yoshiko made our stay so comfortable and provided advice on sightseeing, rides to and from the station, gave us snacks and breakfast food and did our laundry. What a treasure. We hope to go back!”

“Conveniently located near the Nikko Toshogu Shrine and loved the private onsen. Room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Walkable to the main town and bus stops for sites (eg to Chuzenji) are very close. Staff are friendly and personal touches such as dropping us to the station for the onward journey was much appreciated. ”

“The hotel is exactly what I imagined a perfect stay would be like in Japan. It has EVERYTHING I expected. The traditional style, the view, the food, the vibe.. The staff are very welcoming and responsive and helpful. I bought the half board. The breakfast and dinner are wonderful. The location is also great, very close to the sites and nice cafes and restaurants. Strongly recommended! Would definitely stay longer for a week next time in Nikko. ”

“Det var et fint ophold. Stedet ligger ca. 20 minutter fra stationen til fods. Smukke omgivelser med bjerge og floder. Mulighed for at købe morgenmad, aftensmad og vist også frokost på stedet. Jeg fik morgenmad og aftensmad under hele opholdet og det smagte lækkert. Der var ret koldt, men der var både et varmetæppe og varmeblæser på værelset. Det eneste minus var renligheden på værelset. Det kunne være bedre. Overflader var støvede og gulvet ligeledes.”
