“Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hosts with horses and sheep. Similar interests in spinning and knitting. Denise teaches spinning so if you want to try your hand, she has extra wheels. Only negative for us oldies- bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms down with having to navigate steep narrow steps.”

“We enjoyed staying at this site but we had difficulty with the address. I would recommend putting the number 67 on the outside of the mud room door, which would make it much easier to find the location A member of our party had difficulty sleeping on the pull out couch and recommended a thicker mattress. We also smelled cigarettes upon entry into the building but once the door was open for a short time the smell went away. I would definitely stay at this site again when I the area.”

“Very clean and affordable. I called due to some confusion about the AC, and they were very helpful and kind. I would recommend bringing a fan if you are one who prefers to sleep with one on.”

“This was a wonderful place to stay, the house was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family and it was charming. There were air conditioners, but we did not need to utilize them due to cooler evenings. The movie room was a nice place to relax after long days out, and the treats were a nice touch. “Owls Head is close to Camden but like a quiet retreat location. The home is beautifully decorated and landscaped. Plenty of room for a family or multiple couples. Would definitely return.”
