  • Vi diamo il benvenuto al Cottage Harbor Point Road di Barter appena aggiunto ai nostri affitti estivi situati nel sonno, pittoresco villaggio di pescatori di Tenants Harbor, Maine. Questo cottage 3 camere da letto è arroccato su un pendio boscoso di fronte al porto, con una vista del suo ingresso. Il cottage è dotato di Wi-Fi e via cavo e arredate per il comfort. Due delle sue tre camere da letto hanno letti queen-size e la terza ha un letto a rotelle. Il cottage ha una cucina completamente attrezzata che comprende una grande pentola per la cottura aragoste. Il soggiorno, con la sua bella vista dell'acqua, ha comodi posti a sedere per rilassarsi durante una conversazione, guardare la televisione o pianificare la vostra prossima escursione. Il ponte anteriore è un è anche un luogo ideale per bere il tuo caffè del mattino o un cocktail serale.

    C'è un piccolo negozio di generi alimentari e una anche una panetteria a pochi passi. Una spiaggia (Drift In) si trova a breve distanza. Miglior con la bassa marea, i bambini possono frolic e costruire castelli sulla sue sabbie argentee o cercare le rocce per creature del mare. Quando si lascia la spiaggia, visitare Marshall Point luce e museo poi goccia a Village Ice Cream a Port Clyde e, forse, fa piani per prendere il traghetto per Monhegan Island.

    Se visite o anticato è di interesse, metà costa del Maine ha molto da offrire. Per ulteriori bellezze, visitare il sito o Camden Rockport a nord e trovare bancarelle lungo la strada che vanta frutti di mare e prodotti freschi lungo la strada. Prenota una vela a Camden per la pesca a nord o balena (o sigillo) guardando e d'altura a Boothbay un'ora a sud. Assicuratevi di visitare il Maine State Prison Conservare in Thomaston, conosciuta per i suoi mobili in legno fatti a mano e doni. Il veliero nella foto soggiorno veniva da lì.
    E non dimenticate il pesce. Che si tratti di aragosta, vongole, pesce o granchio. È delizioso!
    Tutto sommato, c'è molto nella zona per farti divertire ..

Relaxing

We had a great time. Loved hanging out on the porch. Great internet service. Beds were comfortable. Convenient location to store, restaurants and bakery.

nice area, limited view of ocean, not as clean as i've rented before, closed up has wet smell.

won't be renting this place again. had to leave the fans on all the time and the windows open to help with the wet odor.

Very Nice Cottage

Property was very clean, nicely decorated and in quiet neighborhood with nice water view. Owner is very pleasant and provided a great summary of things to do, shopping, etc.

Getting away from it all

We spent two relaxing weeks in the cottage. The location made day trips to Port Clyde, Rockland, and Camden easy but as our stay progressed we had no desire to leave Tenants Harbor. We were in walking distance to the general store and restaurants. We enjoyed dinner at both the Happy Clam and Luke’s. Most days were spent sitting outside in the shade of the tree watching the lobster boats from the front yard or making the short drive to Drift Inn Beach at low tide. Most nights we stayed in and cooked lobsters in the steam pot provided. Our yellow lab enjoyed her daily walks and the friendly neighbors around Tenants Harbor. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed: wireless internet (for when we had to work), cable TV (though we seldom watched), washer/dryer, and fans for those warm days. It was a vacation with the comforts of home and we hope to return in the future.

Little slice of heaven!

This was a perfect rental! We actually booked this place at the very last minute after being in a horrible rental in Camden Maine. The owner was great to work with and responded very quickly to the one request we had during our stay. Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde are true hidden gems and we adored both places. We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful!

Harbor Cottage was simply wonderful! The cottage itself is clean, well kept up, and well laid out. We spent several cups of coffee each morning on the deck watching boats in the harbor. We enjoyed being able to walk just a few minutes down to the water, to the general store, or to Luke's or the tavern at the East Wind Inn for dinner. It's a short drive to Drift Inn Beach and Port Clyde, where there's a ferry to Monhegan Island and a place to rent kayaks. Linda was great and very responsive. If and when I get to go back to beautiful Maine, Harbor Cottage will be my first choice for a place to stay.

Perfect location, Beautiful views, Cozy and comfortable cottage, best vacation we ever had

We are Florida's "Snow Birds" -1st timers. For me and my wife our first long vacation became one of our best. All three months went like one long happy weekend. We enjoyed beautiful views of Tenants Harbor in the light of rising sun and in the evening dusk, right across very quiet street, spending quiet evenings on the porch, and inside the cottage, cooking local lobsters and farmers produce. Cottage is very comfortable for both of us, all household amenities were right there. Nearby shopping was about 15-20 minutes away, plenty of restaurants, and places to go, for recreation , beaches, sightseeing. When hurricane Irma hit Florida and we could not return back, our Landlord offered us to stay here for a week longer, and did not charge for this week. Now we are going back and will always remember this summer . Thank you Linda. David and Regina

We had a great time at the Harbor Cottage. The cottage was very neat and clean and had all the necessary housekeeping items to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. The beds were new and quite comfortable. Nice new bathroom. We especially liked watching the water from the front porch and my husband liked being across from the dock where he could go fishing. Tenants Harbor is one of our favorite vacation spots. We love visiting Port Clyde, Rockland, Camden and all the other neighboring towns. We even find it easy to travel down to Freeport or Portland for a day of shopping from Tenants Harbor. We have been coming here for many years and stayed in numerous cottages. This cottage was well worth the price.

A Wonderful Experience

Harbor Cottage is wonderful! A terrific place to relax and enjoy one of the best little villages in Maine. The house was comfortable and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is well equipped, and the mattresses are new! Everything encouraged a restful interlude from our hectic lives. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch, coffee in hand, watching the fog roll out in the morning. The accessibility of the internet and cable TV kept my husband happy, while I enjoyed the serenity of the view of the boats coming in and out of the harbor. My daughter and grandchildren came with us to Tenants Harbor, and everyone was pleased with the accomodations. My 2-year-old grandson was especially excited by the "big boat" in the living room! And, wisely, it was out of his reach. The grandkids really loved sleeping in a trundle bed. My husband has to use a walker because of a broken hip, and he had no trouble accessing the cottage. We did have a problem with the stove when we first got to the cottage, but one phone call and it was fixed about an hour later. Very responsive. Dealing with Linda for the rental and the repair was pleasant and effortless. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for an enjoyable, tranquil get-away. The proximity of Marshall Point lighthouse and Rockland's museums and pubs and the many highlights of mid-coast Maine makes Tenants Harbor a perfect location. We have been coming to Tenants Harbor for years, and our experience at Harbor Cottage was one of best yet.
