“Superb accommodation. Highly recommend. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, gorgeous soft furnishings, well equipped kitchen, warm and cosy, good WiFi. Perfect for two. Good communication and warm welcome from host. Perfectly situated to explore this beautiful part of Herefordshire. Would definitely stay again. ”

“If you are looking to book a short stay or even a few weeks at the Stables you will not be disappointed. From the moment we walked into the building it took our breath away. My advice, as you enter just breathe in. The smell of the place is outstanding. It is so clean you can smell the fresh wood. The interior is beautiful, the open plan is welcoming and Sue has thought about absolutely everything to ensure you have the perfect stay. You want a great night rest? The Beds are very comfortable...

“This break was superb. We were additionally blessed with the best Autumn weather I can recall. The accommodation is set in a wonderful garden, which is currently a celebration of seasonal colours ,and we were greeted by a very hospitable owner, who made us feel welcome and comfortable. A relaxed stay with ease of access to Hereford ,and we were spared any rains and fords.”

“We have had a great week staying at Kingfisher Cottage; 12 people, 3 generations. The facilities were excellent. It was so nice to stay in a cottage with good quality pots and pans! We enjoyed all the walks from the cottage as well as the playing field, where our 92yr old grandpa was in goal and our 88yr old Nan Nan kicked the ball around. We loved the view from the side garden overlooking the reservoir, the table tennis table, the outdoor seating, lounge chairs and tables, as well as inside,...

“The cottage is ideally placed for a short break in Ledbury - close to all the shops, restaurants and historic buildings. The only (very slight) downside is the restricted parking on the Homend - but there are a number of both short and long stay car parks within an easy walking distance. We had a very enjoyable stay there and would recommend it highly.”

“I booked this property for a 3 generation family celebration. We were warmly welcomed and shown round on arrival. The property was clean and warm and the beds were very comfortable. All bedrooms but the twin were en suite and there was a family bathroom upstairs with a bath. An early problem with a travel cot was sorted quickly and efficiently. Location was great with many family friendly attractions close by. The communal room - kitchen/ dining/ living room - was small for a large group who...

“Exceptionally clean property, beautiful views, very quiet location, lovely cake on arrival from the host. Small but perfectly formed and although the furniture is a little dated, it has everything you could possibly need. Real fire with plenty of wood. Well equipped kitchen and fairly new bathroom.”

“Nice place. They mean it when they say limited housekeeping as you're expected to sort all trash, wash out containers, & put them in their appropriate recycling bins. If you don't like country or narrow roads this isn't the place for you but I live in the country so didn't bother me except for the really narrow badly kept roads. They only supply 1 key & you have to use it to even lock yourself in so if others in your party leave you're left with being locked in & not being able to get out or...

“This is a lovely cottage and very cosy and warm. It's also near lots of attractions. It was very nice to be able to take my friend's dog who seemed to enjoy herself too. The main door was quite hard to lock and unlock as it's stiff but I broke my right wrist in August so that probably didn't help matters. The owners were very helpful. I would definitely recommend the cottage to others and I would certainly revisit myself.”

“Lena is a fabulous host the cleanliness is spotless and a convenient location to the town and countryside walks with the added bonus of farm fresh eggs from the neighbour ”

“We just had a great stay at Jackdaw Cottage! Our two dogs settled very well and enjoyed exploring the big garden. It was great having Knighton centre/shops in a short walking distance, but also being in a quiet location. We only live about an hour away but it was a break from home which we all thoroughly enjoyed.”
