I booked this hotel for Friday 12th Aug. On Weds 10th Aug there was a fatal traffic incident including members of my family. As next of kin, I sat by a 5-yr olds bedside in hospital for two days while she was intensive care.
I phoned the hotel to request a refund on compassionate grounds. I phoned on Thursday. A day before the booking. They said no. Even after referring it to the owners, the owners declined a refund citing 'company policy'.
We also had a Chatsworth Hotel booked in Hastings for Thursday night and they gave us a refund without any question
I ask you not to book this money grabbing hotel with no heart!
