“This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls. The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally.”

“We had a great stay at Casa Olivia! It definitely feels more like an Airbnb, but with the added security of a hotel which was really nice. We didn’t have room service or room cleaning during our stay, but honestly it wasn’t a big deal to us and we probably could’ve requested it if needed. The only downsides were the shower head wasn’t our favorite, and there wasn’t anywhere in the shower to put body wash, soap, etc., so everything had to sit on the shower floor which kinda sucked. “I was billed twice for this stay. To 2 separate bank accounts. I contacted the property expecting a prompt refund of 1 of the 2 payments, but they disputed them, even after I sent clear photos of both charges in both banking apps. I've begun a dispute with one of the 2 banks, and it'll probably take a month to resolve the double charge. Expedia were unable to assist because this was a "pay at property" stay. Very unimpressed. Will not stay again.”
