“A fabulous find, a short distance from family, perfect for the grandchildren, when the arrived they said it was magical when the saw the marina, they loved walking our dogs down the canal towpath and the crazy golf across the road at the farm park, plenty of places to visit around the area and a lovely place to relax in, a lovely pub with great food next door, there’s a few issues with teal house but nothing that would put us off , we will definitely be back in the near future ”

We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. “Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening.
