“Church Cottage war eine der schönsten Ferienwohnungen, die wir jemals gemietet haben. Idyllisch und ruhig gelegen, direkt unterhalb der Kirche (uns haben die Kirchenglocken tatsächlich überhaupt nicht gestört), ist es ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen direkt vom Haus aus (z.B. zum Uffington Horse) oder in den Cotswalds (wobei man Bourton-on-the-Water am Wochenende besser meiden sollte.). “We had a great stay in this beautiful barn conversion. The location is gorgeous and super convenient to the M4. House is tastefully decorated with great spaces, wonderful light & a big garden/patio as well. We were glad to find a place that had plenty of room and appropriate beds for 8 adults. We would definitely stay again.”

“Was told by Expedia that I had the property to myself but when I arrived I realised I was sharing with 3 other people. Property was supposedly called ‘the cottage’ but turns out this was next door’s place. Parking was basically none existent in the end as the other people had their car(s) on the very small driveway. Only things I can say were good was that the WiFi was a decent speed considering how rural the area was, and the bed was very comfortable.”

“This is a perfect place to relax and unwind if you're looking for peace and gorgeous farmland. Lots of footpaths nearby, including a nature preserve. A car is necessary to get to nearby attractions like Stonor Park or Waddeston but it would be possible to spend a long weekend here and walk to a nearby pub or creamery that makes decision cheese. Lots of farm stands too, to stock up on locally raised produce. We used the kitchen a lot and found it adequate for all our needs. The family is lovely...

“This is a perfect little characterful bolt hole for a break away from the hustle and bustle. Well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. We ate out, but the kitchen was well equipped for those who want to make meals.The cottage has a lovely garden that gets sundhine for most of the day.Cute villiage on the doorstep with a few restaurant options, but plan ahead as not everything's open every day of the week.”
