“Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. “Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back.”

“The room was clean but had a number of issues : Although there was a coffee machine , a radio , and a fan there were no bedside lights. The main light switch by the door was the only control meaning finding your way around in the dark. The notice on the wall of upcoming events was a month out of date There were nasty glass mugs rather than a proper mug or cup The snack basket for occupants to purchase was vastly over priced There were birds nesting in the roof over the room which were noisy...

“Lumpy floor in the en-suite bathroom, Dust on the light bulb in the lamp, cobwebs in the lamp in the hallway! Check in was a bit weird”

“We didn't have breakfast there. Bar offered a good choice of drinks. The extractor fan didn't work in the on suite but it was kept very clean. The stairs to the room were quite steep and the doors were very close together making it a little difficult to manoeuvre. The toilet was quite tall so shorter people may find their feet wouldn't touch the floor. The bed was very comfortable.”
