“Clean room”

“Overall, Windermere House is a fun, affordable place to stay for couples or families. The setting is beautiful and the building is clean and kept up nicely. The room was larger than expected and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was "over lit", but satisfactory. The breakfasts were good although a bit more variety would be nice. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. We'd definitely consider a return trip :)”

“I always enjoy Tappatoo. We go every year. Staff are helpful, rooms are clean and you can’t knock the beach. Fireworks this Canada Day and 2 fire pits on the go. Mosquitos were something else but they can’t do much about that! Breakfast is always yummy and the view in the morning is impeccable.”

Unfortunately, this year’s stay was very disappointing, especially considering we spent nearly $2,000 for one night. The room was not cleaned to the standard expected from a luxury hotel. There was dust all along the baseboards and under the bed, the sofa was extremely squeaky, the dishwasher was left loaded, the teapot was dirty, and...
