“Hotel molto originale, in campagna e quindi molto quieto e silenzioso, con una struttura veramente curata, camere rinnovare e molto carine, pulizia impeccabile, personale giovane, molto competente e accogliente. Colazione completa e buon ristorante, con buon servizio e buoni piatti. Consigliatissimo. ”

“On arrival the radiator wasnt working so the lovely host moved rooms and couldnt do enough to make sure i was ok. Then threw in a couple of free beers. The staff working literally couldnt do enough to help”

“I felt comfortable soon has i walked in staff where lovely, the only thing was they had a power cut for 12 hours and it was pitch black in the bedroom i know its not there fault but i have a walking disability which i try to keep to my self. But other than that i have had a fantastic stay.”

“Il pub é bello e la struttura pulita.e ordinata. Si percepisce amore e cura. Il cibo é ottimo l, in particolare il Sunday roast. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibili, oltre che sorridenti e simpatici. Per le nostre abitudini il letto della stanza in cui eravamo era un po' piccolo ma comodo. Le dimensioni della stanza piuttosto ridotte ma c'è tutto quello che serve. Ottima dotazione di asciugamani e cuscini. ”

“Accommodation was satisfactory but the noise from other residents throughout the night was awful. In our room on the ground floor, you could hear every footstep and every word - the walls were paper thin. ”

“A lovely cottage conveniently located within a stone’s throw of the castle and an easy walk of the Bowes Museum.”

“Lovely room, with great views. Parked easily. Bar and lounge were a bit underwhelming and we didn’t stay downstairs. Breakfast was good. It was horrible weather when we arrived, it does need better lighting, you could barely see.”

“Hotel is welcoming of pets but dog friendly rooms are on the second floor or above and there's no lift so it's a trek during the night to take your dog downstairs to do it's business.”

“Due to issues at work and traffic we were running late and Jon waited up for us past the checking time and helped us with parking. Thank you so much. The room was lovely and spacious and warm. ”
