“Bar was great, friendly staff and locals. Dinner was great both nights we ate there and really good cooked breakfast to start the day. Recommend as a place to stay to explore the area. ”

“Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend. The room was clean & very comfortable with fantastic views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff were all very friendly and attentative. Will definitely visit again. ”

“We had a really enjoyable stay at Townend Farm and Julie was extremely helpful booking a meal at the Tiger Inn and also giving us information about local bus services The breakfast was a really good standard and cooked perfectly . Our only concern was that the rooms were on the second floor with steep staircases which made it difficult to carry suitcases and to access the rooms.Perhaps it might be worth pointing out on the website Thankyou Julie for a lovely stay ”

“Room was beautiful receptionist was lovely breakfast was nice On a night it was very noisy lots of banging and an alarm was going off we got a knock on the door late at night to ask if we had been smoking in the hotel room which was setting the alarm off the lady asking us appeared quite rude and don’t apologise for the disturbance my husband and I don’t smoke no idea what the alarm was that kept going off in the end staff had mentioned they had turned the alarms off Quite disappointing as we...

“What a lovely place, we hired a beautiful Bell tent for 2 nights. It was set up with all the essentials on our arrival. The plot had plenty of space around to set up bbq room and room for kids to play. The site, washrooms and kitchen were like new, very well maintained regularly cleaned. I have a pet allergy so the no pets policy was a great bonus here for me too. We had a great time and will book again. Thank you. ”
