“Absolutely beautiful hotel located in a perfect area to walk to the French Quarter but not have all the crazy at your doorstep. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are large. Great little speakeasy style bar attached to hotel. Highly recommend!!”

“Unser Zimmer war nicht sauber (Haare, Schmutz, Flecken, klebrige Oberflächen, fleckige Handtücher) und enorm hellhörig. Wir hatten zu allem Pech noch extrem laute Nachbarn mit schrecklich schlecht erzogenen Kindern, sodass wir nicht nur den extremen Straßenlärm sondern auch noch Gestampfe, Gepolter und Geschrei von oben abbekommen haben. Nach Information der Rezeption wurde sich nicht einmal bei uns entschuldigt, geschweige denn ein anderes Zimmer angeboten - auch nicht, als wir explizit darum...

“Memoir is a strange blend of residential property and hotel. Its association with the Common House adjoining is not very clear, although this is a great asset to the property (note that common house closes at 5pm on a Sunday, so if you’re staying on a Sunday night this is no use to you). “We stayed for a week. Great, safe area. We walked to French Quarter and Mardi Gras World. Close to Cable Car line. The Crepe Shop below is yummy! Washer and dryer was a plus. Walls are thin so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Would stay here again. ”
