“The hotel was closing down. The staff was excellent! Made telephone calls for me and offered personal wifi. The hotel had no working wifi and the electric bill was paid only just before it started to get dark. I had no concerns, because the staff was EXCELLENT! The location is great for taking the train. The staff i cannot say enough about them. They made the stay acceptable. Without them i would certainly left.”

“Staff, were really helpful. The building is old, but kept clean. There was a little fridge and kettle, in our room. bedding was nice and clean and the bed comfortable. The only concern was that the shower water was luke warm.. For the price we paid, it was really worth it.”

“The hotel is conveniently located in the central CBD. Staff is always helpful. However, the hotel rooms can do with updates - I have stayed at the hotel a few times and I find the rooms have electric plugs coming off the walls, bulbs not working, wardrobes are old and now give off that old smell. I lived off my suitcase as I feared the transfer of the wardrobe smell to my clothes. Shower was draining very slowly until I notified reception, they promptly attended to it. Bedroom walls had smudges...

“L'hotel è storico ed è un'esperienza da fare, anche solo per una visita alla struttura o per pranzare/cenare nel suo ristorante. Lo staff è gentilissimo, disponibile e simpatico. Le camere sono spaziose e ben arredate - lo stile è quello dei primi anni del 1900. Sicuramente il fatto di mantenere viva la storia anche nelle camere è la bellezza di questo posto, però il ventilatore da soffitto è vecchiotto e quindi nella notte faceva particolarmente caldo e dalla doccia non usciva molta acqua....
