Pay Attention to this structure! Be Aware! The structure it's completely different from what it's shown in the photos on Expedia (whom we promptely inform). Before the check-in, the owner of the "cottage", Mr. Nixon, was very kind and fast in answering us. But once we've arrived (it took us more than one hour to find the property due to the mismatch between the real house and the one shown on Expedia) we've discovered "the surprise", and texted immediately Mr. NIxon to share our disappointment: he then disappeared. We've never checked-in because it was impossible to stay inside so We had to book another accomodation immediatily (was late evening) on Expedia to found a bed and a roof for the night... many thanks to Expedia for the day-after assistance. Please, pay attention and be aware if you want a lovely and safe stay in Exuma wich is a beautiful island!

The stay was a 4/5. There were a couple bugs found in the kitchen after a couple of days of stay. The amenities were well-shower was nice but pressure and hot water are not the best. The staff on property is very accommodating and helpful, quick to respond which was appreciated. Location is far walking distance from shops and dining unless you rent a car and taxis aren't cheap. However if you are wanting a quiet stay this is the place. Beach is literally outside back door and there is plenty of peace and serenity to gain here. This is not ideal for families, but couples and single travelers. I would not recommend for high maintenance travelers.

Avie was wonderful to work with during our fabulous trip. He arranged for our rental car to be delivered to his beautiful location we stayed at and made sure we had transportation from airport ready and there to pick us up once we arrived. He also helped get our excursion dreams to happen. Can’t wait to go back!

On the beach. Quiet place. Safe. but is not the entire house. The house it’s been divided in 4 fractions. You will use only 1/4 of what you see in the pictures. Internet never worked. They offer a taxi driver (Zelma) she never answered the phone.

The description of the property is not what you get. It says we get the entire house to ourself, we did not. The pictures are very misleading and old. There is actually 3 units. Our unit had mold all over it. The bathroom ceilings had mold, the laundry basket was covered in mold, there is mold on the floor in front of the fridge too, the dressers smelled like mold and had dryer sheets in them to mask the smell. As soon as you walk in you can smell the mold and mildew. The washer and dryer do not work even tho the owner insisted they did. Even the cleaning lady said she has to take linens to the laundry mat. so we spent 50 bucks to wash all our laundry and the towels there too so we could shower the rest of the week. The wifi went out after two days we tried to contact the owner who took forever to get back to us. He kept saying he will look into it and then they were coming to check it out to which no surprise no one ever did. We couldnt watch any tv the whole week. Theres no knobs on the shower which made it hard to tweek the water temperature. We were left with one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and the hand soap was watered down and a 1/4 full. Three days before we were flying out they tried to cancel on us saying they didnt see our booking and that they only had a one room one bed available which was a lie because the owner called me to ask if i needed a rental car while here. The only reason i gave it any stars was because its on a beach.

The host called me & said he would pick us up at the airport, he didn’t. He never even sent me a email or an address or anything. Thankfully a cab driver asked where I was going & luckily I remembered his name & another driver gave her his #. When we got there, he told her the door was unlocked, after fighting with the door we finally got in. The door does not lock. I looked around & thought surely I had the wrong place, this was an 8’ x 30’ rectangle that was just remodeled by a homeless person. He arrived 10 min later & I asked if this was the correct place. He told me to look at he pics. I realized after looking at the carefully taken pics, I was dooped! We were very tired from our from our 17 hr expedition getting there so we went straight to bed, after tying rope on the door knobs to keep anyone else out. Sure enough, an hour later, someone is at the door, trying to get in & knocking. I came to the door & looked through the glass & he said, “sorry, I didn’t know y’all were staying here!” Freaked out over this, we attempted to find something else. Nothing with such a short notice. He rented me his personal car & was nowhere around for me to get my deposit back. You do not want to ruin your Bahama vacation by renting here. I am an auto mechanic, my standards are not that high! Breakers missing, lines on the TV, no shower door, sink about to fall, 3' drop at the end of steps leading to beach. Kayaks deflated, mosquitoes biting all night cause door does not seal at the top.

This property is located in Stevenson. It is a quiet area located about 20 Minutes from George Town. It has 3 different units. The unit we stayed in has a downstairs 2 bdr/2 bath and spacious. The back porch is right on the beach. It is a quiet, beautiful beach with a great view. Due to a booking glitch, we moved to the upstairs unit (assessable by outside stair). It is 1 bed/1 bath. The view from the balcony is just fantastic. The owners provided a free dinner at a restaurant as an accommodation for the glitch. The units have everything you need and come with a fully equipped kitchen. Communication with the owners was great. The property is 10-15 minutes from Coco Plum beach and the Point. We fell in love with Exuma and would stay again at the Suite Life without hesitation.

Property was private, clean and peaceful. Absolutely gorgeous views. You could hear the waves from inside and walk right out to the water. To eat or grab a drink, we would walk all along the beach to the nearest restaurant. Avie was an excellent host, very responsive and knowledgeable!

Perfect, peaceful and relaxing. Great base.

Wow, what a location. Directly on a secluded beach with stunning views of the ocean. This place is small but the perfect little romantic get away. You need a hire car as there isn’t much locally.
