“The cottage was inviting, cozy and had everything we needed, my son thoroughly enjoyed all the books and the cows too. The surrounds were so quiet, the gardens impeccably maintained and the bonus of fresh eggs from the chickens was wonderful. We explored the towns of Mittagong and Bowral and Berrima and were spoiled for choice of great cafes and restaurants. We certainly hope to return!”

“We had 9 staying at Lavender Cottage and the bedding and beds were wonderful. The layout of the cottage was good, with dining room and lounge large enough for all, with comfortable seating etc. Surrounding was beautiful, and felt very countryside while still only 10-15 mins out of Mittagong. Great 4pm leaving on Sundays. On the downside, property needs considerable maintenance on appliances, heating etc, and outdoor cleaning on BBQ and furniture. “This was the perfect place for our wee group to stay. 100%clean, everything we needed front and back sitting areas, chickens next store. Easy parking., easy drive or 20 min walk into town and very close to a delicious pastry shop. Would thoroughly recommend and would stay again.”
