“Room was booked 24hrs prior to visit. Room was great. Staff were very friendly. Locals equally welcoming. Lovely bar area with ample seating. Didnt get to enjoy breakfast due to needing to rush over to Lime Street to spend the rest of the day travelling home. However what was seen coming from the kitchen looked delicious!! ”

“We stayed at the Red Lion for a few days as we were meeting family. The accommodation is situated at the back of the pub and is bright and clean. You can access it by walking through the pub or walking round the back. There is plenty of parking but it can get busy when the pub is open! It’s situation means you have easy access to get to many places by road very quickly. The staff who work there are fantastic and very helpful. “Excellent food, friendly staff, nicely decorated pub. Bedroom itself was a bit dark as the wallpaper was dark grey, as were the curtains etc. Also, there was a very bright security light outside which made sleep difficult. Shower screen dud not go all the way around the shower, resulting in a wet floor.”

“THIS HOTEL NEEDS A RENOVATION !!! there's no cozy atmoshpere, it doesn't let you feel "at home" . Bathroom is awful. I have done severeal pictures to the unacceptable conditions of the shower. ”
