“We've just come back from an absolutely lovely short stay at the Cliffden, primarily to visit local friends but also for a bit of relaxing family time. The hotel itself and grounds are gorgeous with helpful, generous staff. Our room was basic but a good size and had everything we needed, we missed out on a Seaview and would definitely request that next time. The pool and easy access to town through the gardens really made the stay but we also really enjoyed the restaurant with exceptional staff...

“I was a guest at The Mole checking out on Monday, 2 February. When I returned home I realised that I had misplaced my stainless steel Rolex. I spoke that evening to Steve Parfitt on reception who immediately checked the pool locker and kindly called me back to inform me that he had found it. Steve offered to meet me at the railway station some 15 miles away and I took the train down, and he was able to return my watch to me in person. “The van was very clean and bedding was fresh. Towels were provided which was nice. The TV had apps like Netflix and prime on which was good. There were plenty of cooking utensils and trays/pans. The heating was easy to use and warmed up very quickly.The Indoor pool is warm and clean. The staff in Amelia's cafe were friendly. We would go again ”
