“All the staff gave an amazing customer service. It was a very welcoming, friendly and warm atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. I cannot fault it in any way.”

“Internet service worked OK. Our room was in a rear block on up a flight of stairs with no lift. There are "garden rooms" on the ground floor with french doors open to the garden with small patio areas. Request one of these to avoid stairs. Room had Nespresso coffee maker but no fridge for fresh milk, only those tacky plastic milk pods which was out of character with the stylish quality of the rest of the hotel. Restaurant quality of food is outstanding.”

“Beautiful premises with nice, spacious rooms and welcoming feel. High quality breakfast. Lots of short or long walks around the local countryside available from right outside the front door. ”

“Very charming. We had a lovely dinner in front of a crackling log fire. My partner’s onion soup was the best he’d ever tasted, even better than fancy restaurants in Paris! The bedroom was set apart from the main building so it was nice and quiet and we slept well. We got up early for winter solstice sunrise at Stonehenge intending to be back in time for breakfast, however we were a little late back, but the owner was very accommodating and made sure we still got fed. We would happily stay there...
