Our road trip from Srinagar to Ladakh and back to Delhi brought us to this mountain lake, perhaps the most desolate place I’ve seen. The photo shows the sunset casting our long shadows, and I think it adds a spooky element to the shot. #Adventure
Tso Kar is a salt lake in the Changthang plateau, Eastern Ladakh. Although the water is desperately freezing in summer at 15200ft above sea level, the white salt deposits around the shore offer a natural scrub for your travelling feet!
