Perfect for our needs
We needed a place to stay close to our family and the house was in the perfect location. We loved the cleanliness, moose/lake decor and certainly the view of the lake. Nick was very easy to work with and the house had everything we needed!

Cabin Comfort
Beautiful home and perfect space for the 7 of us (1 infant). The house is across the street from Lake George and can be seen from the porch. 10 minute drive to a boat launch and several public beaches. About an hour from the Town of Lake George with options for mini golf, micro brewery, hostoric tours and ice cream in between. The master bedroom with attached full bathroom was perfect for my husband and our new daughter. Plenty of space for a pack n play for her to sleep. The bedrooms upstairs are spacious and comfortable with a living room in between that was a comfortable hang out spot. The kitchen with all amenities made cooking very easy. Check in and chexk out process was simple and the property owner communicated door lock and provided additional xontact information for any additional questions or concerns. My family and I enjoyed a week at the house relaxing and would stay again!

Great for the Fort
It was a good location for the Fort and was cozy for a family of seven. Ours kids shared the one room upstairs and then they had their own living room area in the loft that was nice. Washer and dryer helped and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Great Family/Friends/Teens
Amazing stay. Location was perfect. Easy ride to Lake Placid, Saranac lake, and Burlington. The house was perfect for a larger group with teens. Two separate seating areas and large table for meals. Laundry was great to have. Would definitely return.

Perfect location to stay for a wedding at The Barn at Lord Howe Valley
Great space for my family of 7, and enough room for visitors. We had a family wedding at the Barn at Lord Howe. It was so close and the next day my children rented a boat at a nearby launch and enjoyed an afternoon on Lake George.

Well equipped clean and comfortable
Lots of Moose decor! Three comfy bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. 2 full bathrooms plus half bath. Sparkling clean. My husband and I stayed here with one of our friends. There are many plush couches and chairs in the sitting areas. I am sure some of them covert to beds. Nicholas our host was easily reached and responsive to our questions. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Moose Lodge
First time in the area and was very pleased with the location. The owner had forgotten to send us the combination for the front door but through VRBO we were able to connect and get in. A couple of issues that were brought to the owner’s attention. Water continues to accumulate in the fruit and vegetable bins in the refrigerator. A few light bulbs were not working, including everything in one of the upstairs bedrooms. All closets were locked but there were two free standing racks but only 9 hangers total. Two of the windows upstairs did not have screens installed. Originally there was no toaster, as listed for the house. The owner upon hearing of this had a toaster delivered. The television in the living room has a burned out section, about 4 square inches in the middle of the screen but the television upstairs worked fine. The bedroom windows did not have shades so the sun came streaming in at first light. Besides those inconveniences. The house was fine and we really enjoyed the stay.

Thanksgiving 2021
Very nice and clean property in a very nice location with Lake George and the village of Ticonderoga close by. The house is beautifully constructed and furnished. The kitchen is well supplied, only lacking food prep knives, a microwave heating dish and plastic wrap. The stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave are very modern. The hike up Cook Mountain with views of Lake George, Lake Champlain and Vermont is highly recommended.

Great stay
House was better than expected. The owner def put alot of effort into furnishing the house. It was a very cozy and comfortable and felt like a log cabin upon entry. We roasted s’mores in the backyard! Place was very conveniently located to a Walmart to buy essentials, and around a 10 minute drive to fort Ticonderoga. The house also had a washer and dryer which was great for a family. Only tiny thing is - the kitchen while well stocked with pots and pans, nothing at all in pantry so we had to buy everything down to basic condiments (salt/pepper, oil, etc.) I should’ve asked ahead of time but other than this minor thing.. it was a fantastic stay.

Lakeside Stay
The owner was very helpful and always got back to use right away. The cabin was beautiful & perfect for our family of five and our friends family of four. There was a second tv area that was great for the kids entertainment. The only downfall was that there wasn’t any public lake access walking distance. I would definitely recommend this cabin to a family looking for a little getaway.

Great Trip
The home is recently built. We noticed the kitchen was recently redone and looks great, better than the pictures online. The owner has spent time decorating and the home has a very "Adirondack" feel. We had 3 adult groups and the 3 bedrooms are very spacious. Will definitely consider another trip to this house.

Nice and cozy
The house it nice and the neighborhood is in proximity to hiking and shopping center. It is a cozy property, but does not comfortably fit 10. It’s a perfect setup for 1 family of 6 or 3 couples. There were a few basic things missing in the property so be prepared to make a Walmart trip. The towels and linens could use an upgrade, but workable. The kitchen was recently upgraded and looks great, but a part of the house was closed (I.e. access to the garage, all closets and half the cabinets). There’s no central heat so some of the rooms are very cold if you visit in the winter.

Great Time
Great place to stay.The Defurias were were extremely easy to deal with and were very accommodating.I wish them nothing but the best.Everything is as advertised and the house itself is awesome with an area behind that has a fire pit and grill.Would definitely stay there again.

Great place
This property was exactly as described and a perfect location for our family. We had 3 adult couples and there was plenty of room for us especially with the spacious bedrooms. Would recommend it to anyone looking to stay on the area.

Weekend stay for wedding at sagamore
The house was very neat. Further from the sagamore than we hoped but that is my fault. Didn’t realize the roads were so wind-y and dark. Would stay here again to explore the area more

Beautiful home. It is beautifully decorated. It is in a great location. Unfortunately all the beds were terrible . 2 of my sons had to sleep on the couches but they were no better than the beds. The master bed was horrible. Kitchen was minimally stocked. Need more steak knifes

I am very sorry you never contacted me. I would have been able to explain that the beds as all select comfort and you can use a remote to adjust how hard or soft the bed is.

Great place to relax!
This house was perfect for our vacation. My family and I were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, peaceful area. Plenty of room, very clean, very well-stocked home. Would definitely stay there again in the future!

Really nice place to be for a fishing vacation
The house is spacious and very well equipped. It is a really nice place to be after a long fishing day on lake Champlain. There were plenty of space to park our suv and tailler boat. I have rented homes for the last 3 years in the Ticonderoga region and it is the best place that I found. Don't hesitate.

Nice place!
Family members stayed there for a wedding. The report was it was really nice and clean. It was nicely decorated; just a small amount of finishing work to be done, but nothing major. There was no coffee maker though -might want to add one. Eight people stayed and were comfortable. Good location too. Nick was so easy and pleasant to work with! There were no issues at all with the stay. Definitely recommend it! (P.S. Listing might want to add the breakdown of beds//what rooms they are in/how many sleep to a room. Suggest towels enough for 10.)

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for letting me know that the coffe pot is missing, I will make sure it is replaced with a new one. I have also ensured that there are now 15 towels on hand.

I rented the house for 3 days with a group of friends for Labor Day weekend and none of us had a single complaint. Everything was as Nick described. Nick was very easy to work with and made sure everything was perfect for us during our stay.

Beautiful Contemporary Rustic Retreat
The Moose Lodge was bright, comfortable and convenient to everything. We slept like logs in the beds and the bathrooms were updated and very clean. Nick was a dream to work with and I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay in the area!
