The former studio of a renowned local painter and writer, converted into a loft-style accommodation. Decorated in keeping with the artist’s theme. Brightly lit and offering beautiful views of the Quebrada de Humahuaca in all directions. It’s located two blocks from the central plaza on Tilcara’s main street, a block and a half from the local church—where you can see the painter’s works—and just a few meters from the historic Churqui (Algarrobo) tree. Run by the artist’s direct descendants. Our space is spacious, bright, historic, artistic, mystical, and magical; it features a bathroom with a whirlpool tub—ideal for relaxing after a day of hiking in the gorge.
