“This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. “We loved the freedom to explore the rainforest right outside our door. We saw a wide variety of wildlife: howler monkeys, iguanas, motmots, tree frogs, hummingbirds.... “My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”
